    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

There is a big difference between "losing because you didn't see a HT" and "winning with having difficulty to see a HT"

I played 4 CW for a long time and this is definitely a consideration.
    Now...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

    1) Solidarity is usually not expected. High Tide decks are not quite common. Discard isn't THAT rough (Meditate is a hell of a card). Solidarity won't lose to a single attack angle if it is what you...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

    1) You can start using the following list:

    11 Island
    4 Flooded Strand
    2 Misty Rainforest
    2 Polluted Delta

    4 Brainstorm
    4 Opt
    4 Impulse

Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

    +1
I was suggesting that setup a month ago in this very thread.

Kitchen testing since then but I'm happy with it.

It requires a bit of practise tbh as Hexdrinker is not a Mongoose: every turn...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

He seems great on the offensive side and not so bad on the defensive side.
    Reach is very nice indeed.
We definitely lacked a "good" dude in this area.

I still doubt about him especially since...

Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

This is a possibility as it may better shine in a BUG shell than a RUG one but the initial idea was to get some synergy with Wren.

Wren does allow us to operate on more than 2/3 lands as most of...

Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

    You do.
It requires to spend only 1 mana/turn and leave 1 mana opened in the beginning but when you get Wren recurring fetchlands it is very nice.

In the mid and endgame if your opponent is...

Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

You should try to play the following creature lists:

    4 Hexdrinker
    4 Delver
    4 Tarmo

With 2 or 3 Wren in your 60.

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

As far as testing goes, I like it. I wasn't very confident about inevitability at first as I thought SCM was fairly better to keep going but I haven't failed yet after 20 games.

    I'd even say I...

Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

    Yeah.
And sometimes you would draw it T4, 5 or 6...

Test will prevail but my feeling is "not good enough".

    Re: [Deck/Primer] Countersliver (MeatHooks)

I would rather say it is an upgrade to "Winged Sliver" not Galerider. CMC 1 is the real deal.

Unsettled Mariner seems to have some potential. Not sure it is Legacy playable but I could see a mix...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

You should read the card "Evermind" again.
I don't think it works the way you suggest it is :p

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

Don't get me wrong. I was just saying replacing Remand by Reversal might not be great.
However, replacing Snapcaster by Reversal might accelerate us while diminishing our grave dependancy.

    That...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

How do you like Reversal ?

    I tried it as a 1-of but wasn't convinced.
It opens up a few "cool" plays BUT it was usually too narrow:
    + good vs discard deck
+ spare 1 mana compared with Remand...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

    Hello,

So after quite a lot of testing I'm afraid the UG version is not as good as the mono blue one.

Long story short, the results of many matches (>50) against Tempo and Stompy decks on 3...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

    I like it.
I wouldn't play Lost Legacy because BB is a killing in Scape variant. SLG is a house but 4 CMC is sometimes evil.
Sub Tremors doesn't hit flying creatures. I would rather play Sudden...

It is one creature not two.
You get to choose between grave or library but you only get one.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Since I'm the one using it at the moment let me share a few more things.
Wurm is easier to play as a 1-of than the new threat because you can fetch it with empath. So when it matters you have a...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

No. This is unfortunate but as a family man I have to select the very few tournaments, I can attend to, very "wisely".

It should be better in a couple of years when they are older :p

    Have fun...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

    I still beg to differ.

Since DRS is gone, most manabases are playing basics. Trophy is a very fine card but AD is still better IMHO.
Nic Fit is a deck where you build incremental CA. So that...

No. I wouldn't say it is irrelevant (it took me several turns to cast Leo against D&T but that was because he kept porting my Underground...)

    Thank you.

    1) Cannot answer yet. Leo didn't show up very often and I didn't face any MUs in which it is supposed to shine. Will need more data to draw any conclusion. It was sworded against D&T...

    Hello Joaquin,

MKM Paris was a very good test for the initial list. It helped me a lot identifying which creature' singleton had earned its slot or not.
