Yeah, you just need to point out your Chalice triggers (and resolves, though it only very rarely will not) to counter their spell.

1) Your opponents are absolutely permitted to cast spells into your Chalice in hopes that you do not remember the trigger. It is your permanent, so it is entirely your responsibility to remember that...
