Just a follow up to my questions earlier, still struggling with sideboarding against Lands. Lets say I'm playing Jan Lenger's list, whats a good sideboard plan versus lands? This is my idea, please...
What does one sideboard versus the lands matchup? I'm going to an event this weekend where I expect a lot of lands and I can't decide if bring more surgical extractions, elderscale wurm, etc.
Not even close for me:

Thanks for the advice, I've basically been going off what I've seen other Elves players do when playing against them, so its nice to have some logic behind why they boarded that way.
Long time legacy player, but new to Elves. I've been having trouble figuring out how to sideboard against the field. I know what cards I want to bring in, but cutting is the problem. I've read the...
I'm a Miracles player who has just bought into Elves, are there any good sources for some deck primers, common lines, etc? I have figured out a lot of them from playing against Elves over the years,...
I've been running the four mentor list since the brainstorm show came out with it. I did update with the changes they and Minniehajj prescribed. I have tried one JTMS over the second preordain and it...
The ponder/predict variant is definitely the most stable and most consistent because of all of the cantrips and lower curve. Something like this: http://mtgtop8.com/event?e=12671&d=273452&f=LE
In general legends is better against combo, because you have more disruption in the form of Vendilion Clique and Venser, Shaper Savant. Cavern of Souls + Venser, Shaper Savant + Karakas also helps...
Minniehajj, could you talk about the third counterspell and the fourth snapcaster mage in the board. I'm assuming the fourth snapcaster mage is when you want additional removal against agressive...
Has anyone else done testing with the Brainstorm Show's miracles list? I saw that Minniehajj said he had some luck with it, just wanted to get other peoples feedback.
Wish I saw this earlier, I too work in Needham.
I've noticed a trend of people including an extra Tendrils of Agony or two in the board, when do you bring these in and what is the purpose? Also I've also noticed people going back to City of...
As someone who plays Miracles, I fear Shardless BUG more than Maverick or Jund. I also think Shardless BUG is in general a better BGx deck than the other two. I would work on getting better with that...
Glad to see I'm not the only one, I go all non-foil Japanese. Upcoming Japanese FoW make me very happy.
I think you're leaning on surgical way too much. I had a pro tell me after a match once that "surgical extraction should only come in if it can hit something that will immediately win you the game"....
Invasive surgery is already seeing sideboard play, card is busted against a lot of decks (storm, miracles, lands, etc).
What do you all think about the card Pieces of the Puzzle from SOI?

It could be a good way to clear top, but also get some card...
What do people think about that new card from SOI, Behold the Beyond?

Seven is obviously tons of mana, but being able to get three...
I run both the Rain of Filth and the two Dark Petition, and I'm actually running a Rebuild as my mass artifact removal. I think it's better than Hurkyl's Recall because of the ability to bounce your...
From a nice man in the ask a judge IRC chat:
1. The replacement effect of Containment Priest applies before the land actually comes into play.
2. The continuous effect from Living Plane does NOT...
You are correct, if you choose to have your lands phase out, they will return to the battlefield tapped. Don't forget that if you chose non-Aura enchantments, your Teferi's Realm will also phase out....
So, I've played this deck a few times now and I'm finding that if I don't find a Monastery Mentor, I usually just die (with the rare exception of winning with Jace, The Mind Sculptor). I understand...
