I agree that the card itself is not better than Cannonist or Priest. The big difference though, is that New Thalia is a 3-of in the mainboard, Cannonist and C. Priest are 2-of sideboard cards, so...

Ok, ok, 'favourable' is maybe a bit too much, but all creatures of the elves player come tapped into play! I played only a few matches against elves but it is gg and scoop when Thalia resolves.

Tides have changed: With 3 new Thalia's, Elves is a favourable matchup for us!

I hope the pilot of the winning deck at the classic will post a report here.

Yeah, you can have Ethersworn, Gaddock, Thalia, i think it is the worst matchup...

I almost feel like playing 3 SFM's and putting the good old Batterskull in maindeck again...

I have to disagree. Maybe you could underbuild. I just think Maverick deserves more play and with addition of some of the new kids on the block it can handle well in big events....
