Hey All.
I am trying to finalize my list for the Grand Prix. I am on 1 nissa main, 3 NO's main and 1 SB, 1 Prog in SB. I would love to find room for teeg/ooze/Abrupt Decay main. I am fiddling...
I havn't gotten to play much lately and am behind on my tech. I am still struggling to adjust my play to take advantage of Chaos Elves, which I have been convinced (Mostly by Julian's success) is...
Hey everyone. It's been busy on my end, but my Intro to Legacy podcast: Legacy Weapon, just posted an Elves! deck tech.
I'd love feedback. This is episode 4 of our show, and this is our first...
I'm not so sure (again, I'm doing this without experience as a thought experiment). So they have glacial chasm to stop us from damaging them. I don't have a way to stop that or any lands directly in...
Yeah, but can't we just DRS them? I am have watched this matchup some but only played it once. So...they stay alive through casm, zuran orb, and life from the loam? We stay alive with elderscale....
This post. This post may have just opened my eyes on elderscale.....must go test....and get a fourth natural order....
Hey everyone.
Off topic slightly, but I wanted to let you know I started a Legacy podcast, with a primary intended audience of people new to the format. Episode one is up now. Episode 5 will be...
I think this meta gives good opportunities for elves to run away with it within the year. Fast com I decks, which hurt us, are looking strong, so soon force of will will be everywhere. Force of will...
Turn one win off spirit guide? Off just one? What would that look like?
So turn one. Spirit guide for..nettle I guess. (5 in hand) Forest. Birchlore? (3in hand) Tap and cast another nettle. (2)....
Julian would know better then me. I just mean that however you split the therapy and the thought seize, (my understanding is that there is a general consensus for some of each and to usually have...

What Julian said.
I will also promote the cards that are most versatile: abrupt decay, pithing needle, and discard.
I strongly prefer cabal therapy to thought seize, but in a small event...
Right, I knew show and tell was one of the main reasons for karakas. But if you have white cards it does double duty. If I had a bunch of white cards sideboard for some reason, then I could see...
I don't run teeg at the moment, but if I decided to splash white for any reason, I think he would be an easy tag along.
Those who have tested white, I assume savanna is the play, rather then...
True. p-needle hits thespian stage/wasteland etc. revoker hits LED and heritage Druid. They are comparable but significantly different.
Revoker is pretty much for the same stuff that pithing needle is for. I prefer pithing needle but can see it going ether way. Revoker fuels cradle and cratterhoof, but opens you up to even more pain...
Ross Merrium is live on SCGlive on twitch now, with storm. Doing well so far. Good luck! I hope you do well enough with combo that you Spigle handedly shift the metagame Into hating storm next week,...
I almost never side out GSZ as I consider it the glue of the deck, usually the card I most want to have in my opening hand against an unknown deck. I sided it out once because the opponent had some...
Now that is something good for me to remember. I'll never be happy about chalices, but maybe like force of will, it's good to be prevalent in the format to keep down the decks we worry about.
I'm...
You are right that most of the things I want to target are things sage takes care of, and I do have 5-9 sages (depending on whether you count NO as a reliable sage tutor, I'm not sure we should as...
Maybe game saving is over stating it, but hitting an opponents deathrite or chalice or phyrexian revoker or jitte or stone forge....even delver....seems worth a card to me. It's not always better...
Do you often find it dead in hand, or with only marginally valuable targets? It may just be the games I play, but with a sample size of just me, it's more like 5/10 game saving, 3/10 as good as a...
Thanks. I'm not sure whether I was bringing in sage before the meta shift made it a good idea or whether I was a visionary leading the pack....I'm gonna choose to think in my own private thoughts it...
So is sage main board the common line now? I have been AWOL for the last month or two because of work and family stuff. I may be missing something, but this still seems like a problem to me even...
So I have been hearing about more and more decks running chalice of the void, and more of them running it main as well (maybe not a lot, but more then had been). Stupid UR delver making chalice...
I am a new voice here, and not especially experienced or accomplished, but here is my two cents:
Play 2x overgrown tomb until you can get your hands on a bayou.
I speak as someone slowing...
