    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

Now there is some time since I played Solidarity (or Legacy at all to be honest). But you can also hit cards like Counterbalance, trinispheres, Thalia's etc. Cards that prevent you from going off,...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

The reason why I play Spiral Tide nowdays over Solidarity is the cantrips that you can run in Spiral Tide that you can't run in Solidarity. So, some cantrip that's similar to Ponder or Preordain...

For sure. The elitist factors is only a matter when you go to a tournament somebody else arrange. And for sanctioned, sure it's not WotC sanctioned, but the 93/94 community in Sweden plays for...

We'v discussed it back and forth several times. The problem always boils down to people only remembering the old rules and the old card functions that they enjoyed. The best way to have everybody...

Sure. I'm not trying to say that you should not cut the corners, and if you and your local group have fun its all well and good. I just feelt that I had to adress the revised discussion since people...

Re: Magic 94 - Websites and Forums

I agree. Altho, many people seems to enjoy the format with budget alternative as White Weenie or Black Weenie (easy around $100-$200 for the whole deck), and many people seems to be rather creative...

    Hi!

Regarding revised and exceptions. Alpha/Beta is the norm, and unl is the budget alternative. Talking about rev as a budget alternative to our budget alternative will remove lots of the geist...

I haven't been active in this thread for some time now, since loosing with Solidarity started to become boring. I have played around with other combo decks instead (various versions of Doomsday, ANT,...

you resolve BF copies one and one. So mill 3, mill 3, mill 3, mill 3 etc.

Reset can only be played in opponents turn AFTER their upkeep, so yes. Drawstep is the first instance where you can play...

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

You pick targets for the main brain freeze and the copies before you start to resolve them. The trick is to leave the remaining copies on the stack when you have found your FoI and go of from there.

No it wont. Counterbalance killed Solidarity, this card is just another tech people can use against you, and as always with Solidarity, the tech is to learn how to play around it.

I actually think that Spring Tide (cloud of fearies/snap enginge) is the better High Tide deck right now, since its probably the fastest one.

    Re: [Deck] Solidarity

@Olesch: I often just use FoI as a cantrip, or as a half impulse. Many times your in no need to combo by turn 4.

Biggest reason for me to run 2 FoI in the deck is not to increase the amount of...

I would play some mix of them. Depending on the amount of players in your local meta, 2-3 seem to be a rather large number.

The only way we should resolve Time Spirals with Solidarity is to help the Spring Tide guys build a modern version of their deck, and then Twincast their Spirals. =)

I can't see any valid points...
