Hey! If you play Throes of Chaos and cascade into Valki, god of lies, can you play his flip side? And if so, why / why not?
I've been playing the deck for several years but sure, call it anecdotal if you want. As I clearly said, it is not only from these 2 games but from all previous tournaments. Yes you do get free wins...
Decided, against better judgement, to give this deck another go at GP Bologna. R1 I lose against burn, after my opponent mulligans and only plays one land the whole game. I keep a hand that has a few...
I'm gonna give this card a go in the next tournament. Seems decent enough.
Also, this question has probably been asked a 1000 times already but since I don't really feel like sifting through 40...
Thank you very much!
Can I cast a FOW (the copy, that is) for its alternative casting cost when revealing it with Kefnet? How about Treasure Cruise and Gitaxian Probe?
What would be the converted mana cost of the copy...
It's pretty busted imo. It comes down on turn 1 or 2, is very hard to kill, kills Snapcasters and Cliques, generates card advantage by turning Brainstorm into Ancestral Recalls, largely nullifies B2B...
Is this deck still playable with the abundance of Wrenn and Six? I feel this card is busted beyond repair and almost an autowin against Miracles... .
Just took this deck to a local FNM and my god what a pile of crap... . I went 1-3 with the only matches I won was because my opponent mulled to 5. I lost against storm, punishing thieves and miracles...
It is not ok when 99% of the people elect to begin when they win the roll. There are like tow fringe decks that elect to draw first, EVERY other deck/player prefers to draw first. That actually means...
I knew this comment was coming. No matter how you turn it, there will always be people who lose more die rolls than they win. Fun fact: I actually keeps stat of this for fun, and the last 5 years...
One of the most imbalanced things in Magic is deciding who gets to start by the hand of a die roll. 99% of the people who win the die roll decide to play first, and see their chances of winning...
Blood Moon is great against Lands but you already have a good matchup against that deck... . It's not that great against Delver either since playing a Blood Moon when they already have a few...
Seems somwhat light on graveyard hate... . I personally find two Grafdigger's Cage not sufficient against Reanimator, dredge and the like. The Cage might even be too slow if you're on the draw... ....
Well first of all, Show and Tell + Omniscience + Cunning Wish is a three card combo. Sneak Attack / Show And Tell + fatty = two card combo.
Second of all, you need to devote a lot of sideboard...
Just took this deck to a tournament for an unimpressive 1-2 drop.
4 Show and Tell
4 Brainstorm
4 Ponder
2 Preordain
4 FOW
2 Flusterstorm
2 Spell Pierce
2 Intuition
I'm a long time Eldrazi player and I seriously doubt this deck is still good enough... . I've been playing the deck the last year in every tournament and it simply feels lackluster compared to other...
Took Eldrazi to an 80+ man Legacy tournament.
Played this list:
4 Thought Knot Seer
4 Reality Smasher
4 Eldrazi Mimic
4 Chalice of the Void
4 Thorn of Amethyst
2 Warping Wail
2 Matter...
Well... he went turn one Petal, Petal, LED, Coliseum, sac Petal for Breakthrough and in response sac the LED discarding a Grave Troll. And he dredged his entire deck on turn one :-/.
Just played against dredge with Eldrazi. Lost game 1 on turn two, lost game two on turn one after having played a Relic on my turn. Opponent said he wins on turn two at the latest almost every time....
Is Remora any good? Most decks in Legacy are pretty creature-orientated. It seems pretty loose to tap out every turn to yield little to no advantage.
Hi guys! I'm putting together a Replenish deck. I know this deck will probably never be tier one, but as long as I can steal a few games from the real decks, I'm happy ;-). This deck is purely meant...
Sneak attack has been pretty underwhelming with everybody playing Spyglass or Needle in the sb. How do you guys feel about cutting red and replacing it with Eureka, focussing a little more on...
I stand by my point.
This deck has horrible matchups against most tier one decks: infect, show and tell, lands, UR delver (Price of Progress anyone?), miracles, big red, decks that play Baleful...
