    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

    Hi guys!

I know I haven't posted in a while since I've mostly been busy with RetroNinjas. I have lent out my zombie deck at events and did play it a bit on the side lately however and I have some...

I think Satyr Wayfinder is the way to go with 4 Hogaak.

Have you tried a build with Smiting Helix? Even straight up Lightning Helix is good if there is a burn player in your meta. Definitely beats Brutality IMO.

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

Yeah replacing Feeder and Bridges is probably the first thing on the chopping block. Loam and Wastes would definitely make it in the main along with Decays but I would likely keep Crop Rotations, Bog...

Have you tried Life from the Loam and Wastelands in your green splash? Seems like the card is naturaly good with Faithless Looting and SB Crop Rotation.

Perhaps you could try Mire in Misery against Eldrazi?

What do you need Needle for these days? I think the card has fallen to the wayside and isn't very good anymore. Playing one is never bad but it's rarely exceptionally good either...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

I think that if you want a better Eldrazi matchup you need fatties. Gurmag Angler on T2 via Supplier is a great way to play this matchup. Hull Breach is a remedy to Chalice + Leyline but that's about...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

Leyline is pretty scarce and usually comes out of deck that can't play Surgical Extraction like Eldrazi. I don't really have a problem playing without a GY if it means my opponent diluted his game...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

If you are edging against Burn I suggest replacing some number of TS for IoK. Hand information in a Therapy deck is extremely valuable. Discard is an inherently tempo-negative card as you are paying...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

Not bad. It's nice to see someone playing around with a green splash. I'll get on it sooner or later. I've got questions and feedback for you though.

Why Hymn and no Thoughtseize? In all the years...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

Yes. I think you can still pack Gurmag over Feeder if you like but I wanted that extra synergy with Bridge and Hogaak.

    Here it is:

    Creatures (16)
    2 Carrion Feeder
    4 Stitcher's Supplier
    4...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

Against all the matchups you've mentionned you can slam Gurmag instead of Dino post discard too. You also don't need Ritual to power him out early because Supplier is already a Ritual for Gurmag....

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

    Funky list!

I don't know about Regisaur, he seems pretty weak for the cost and I wouldn't waste a Ritual for him. I'd rather play Buried Alive than a vanilla CMC3 fatty with built-in card...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

I took a quick pause from Delver to play some techy Zombardment at a Legacy weekly. I went 4-0 going for the full clean sweep. The event had a good turnout as usual (20-25 players) and I got to play...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

No I haven't. Unlike Gurmag he is not a zombie and cannot be cast from your hand. As an Entomb target I can't cast him with spirit tokens unlike Scourge. I also preffer a 6/6 flyer to an 8/8 trampler...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

I'd like to point out that Silent Gravestone is pretty good right now. We all know how good it is vs. Surgical, Loam, Reanimator and Snapcaster. Now we can add W6 and Arcanist to that list. I...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

I've played some Angrath's Rampage in my classic list and it put in some serious work against Chalice, Marrit Lage, TNN, Mongoose, Arcanist, Fatties (Eldrazi, Goyf, Gurmag), W6 and Stoneforge. I...

Cratermaker is there for Chalice, Batterskull, Jitte, Emrakuk, Eldrazis, Karn/Ugin, Thalia, and Delver off the top of my head. You can also protect Ghast from Terminus/StP with Crater....

Nothing too fancy really. I just want flex slots for a removal suite. I've narrowed down flex slots to Goblin Cratermaker, Swords to Plowshares, and potentially Angrath's Rampage. I can...

Taiga makes a lot of sense with Decay. I would play more Decay main over your janky split card. I firmly believe Decay is the single best...

    Re: [Deck] Zombardment

In that case you can easily do +3 Bombardment for -1 Scourge and -2 Souls and have more game against Griselbrand. You could also dismiss Bomb, Souls, and Scourge altogether in favor of Cabal Therapy...

I don't think the new set will revolutionize zombardment as there are no cards remotely like Stitcher's Supplier that are being printed. The set does give us a few tools and opens up different...

The thing about Augur is that he promotes more sac outlets and more zombies, therefore the plan becomes to make zombies and sacrifice zombies. Such a linear strategy promotes zombies, sac effects,...
