I'd flex slot it if it were a zombie for gravecrawler interaction. As-is I think it's not good enough. Maybe it could find a home in a slow grindy meta.
This is fun:

Got a list? Sounds sweet.

It gets style points, that's for sure. Other pros are it protects against stuff like Pernicious Deed, can't be Karakas'd, blocks better, and in other lists would work more favorably with cards like...
3 Trinket Mage
You're being targeted by two lightning bolts. You can cast a fog that does literally nothing or gain 3 life. Your call.
The answer is always yes. Post the list.
The list in OP was very budget, per the pilot.
We talked about it quite a bit in the Painter-Stone thread starting about here:

Knight of Autumn printing and the death of DRS seems to have done a lot to help slide out competitively - I'll be playing it next week and will post results in the other thread.
I was going to refer you to the primary Slide thread until I noticed you were the OP of that one too.
You previously declared slide dead, what's brought you back and why the new thread?
Thanks for the writeup -- sucks to fizzle out like that but winning a feature match is a feat in itself!

My list is a page or two back. With 6 planeswalkers I've never had a problem vs Grixis. They give us infinite time to set up our gameplan and their only stack interaction is a 1-for-2. It's just one...
Well, the only reason I'm playing Pox right now is because grixis / miracle control are popular and pox is pretty good vs them.
We don't care at all about Strix, Kcommand is only mildly annoying...
I'm sure sticking to UG rather than BUG is for manabase reasons, but the manabase still looks pretty horrendous.
Your deck doesn't benefit from having 2+ sol lands out, so can't take advantage of...
With Sai in play it's obviously bonkers, but without Sai its floor is a Kjeldoran Outpost that scales. In grindy games it will singlehandedly take over and require an answer. It won me a game vs...
4-0'd weekly with Brian's SCG list with a few changes (-4 shores, -1 spellbomb +2 inventor's fair +2 lotus petal +1 Retrofitter Foundry). First time playing painter but have been trying to find the...
As long as the best decks are Miracles and Grixis Control I'll be keeping them in. Just so happened I faced faster decks this week.
I do think Sinkhole is borderline and I cut it completely in...
Sure, I don't take notes at weekly but will do my best to recollect:
Elves: g1 I was on the play and t1 inquisition taking GSZ. He has 1 forest and casts birchlore ranger I think. I smallpox him...
It's good, I've been thinking of something along the exact same lines.
I think with 8 cantrips and all the basic lands 20 land is possible and probably better. I'm not so sure about Tarmogoyf --...
3-1 at weeklies last night -- likely 4-0 if I stopped keeping 1-land hands on the draw.
