    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Thanks for the clarification, seems like difficult set-up to pull off. Yet, if you manage to tie the strings together it surely be GG.

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

I haven't posted here in ages, so I'm not really up-to-date. So could someone explain to me what 'the Emrakul-plan' is?

Question to all: isn't IoK better than Duress in this meta?

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Congrats! That's a pretty old-school list. Are you, by any chance, going to write a report on your MU's?

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

I played some fair games with the all-in version when this deck was just created, and indeed the Pneedle was essential. But combined with the midrange of given deck, Wasteland makes a lot of more...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Well, I'll be damned... I came with a similar list as well, but never tested it and eventually abandonded the list:

    Creatures (12)
    4 Tarmogoyf
    4 Dark Confidant
    4 Vampire Hexmage

    Spells...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Interesting to see this change from it's initial form into yet another Blue-based deck. It's a shame really, but it was bound to happen one time

Another top 4-finish by, I believe, Adrieng. Couldn't find it back here, so a link: http://www.tcdecks.net/deck.php?id=15452

I'm curious, just because I'm building the Rg Lands-deck atm, how the...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

There is no need in splashing blue when you don't play Brainstorm and Force of Will. Why soft-counters when you can hard-counter? Of course you will need a grand total of 16-18 Blue cards to support...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Well, I proxied it, but I never felt completly comfortable with the list. Just like you stated, it feels heavely GY-dependend. That, and the use of LW (while giving some protection) makes this deck...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

If looking into Blue, I suggest taking a look at 'Farmville'

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Nice primer! Will you be putting up other sample-lists or did the old lists fall from grace?

Love your list by the way!

EDIT: Into the North will get you any Snow-Covered land. Just a minor...
