Duress is far more consistent and answers the key cards that DO answer the combo.

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Why not go all in on the creature plan? Take out of the fast mana and bring in knight, excavator, scryb ranger, tracker, and titania. Much better than discard spells + pithing needle.

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

I think 500+ comp. league matches at a 75% win rate, 20+ 5-0s in the last 3 months, and a recent GP 8-0 is a pretty strong indication of the deck's current optimization state. Our 75 has been tested...

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

Why not just play the stock list with an over 75% Magic online win rate if you want something faster? If you want the grindy DRS/Bob plan, just play RG lands or aggro loam.

    Re: [Deck] Dark Depths

6-0ed the local APAC legacy invitational qualifier with the stock list and 3 more 4-1s online.

Again, I really do not get the point of DRS/BoB when you can run loam/exploration in RG lands. The...

    Re: [DTB] Dark Depths

Funny, I have an over 70% win rate vs ANT vs a sub 40% win rate vs TES.

Recommend everyone join us on the discord as Solnox and I have created a very thorough sideboarding plan.

    Re: [DTB] Dark Depths

Congrats on the finish, but I still don't get the point of the DRS/bob build over straight RG lands as the fast mana is what makes the deck so powerful. Why not just play ancestral recall over bob...

Rites has vastly overperformed for me in a variety of other matchups, including DNT, Maverick, Elves, and Aluren. The ability to race should not be underestimated.

    Re: [DTB] Dark Depths

I just don't like how slot intensive the consumption plan is. I will test it online and report back.

I still haven't found a particularly great SnT plan aside from race-and-pray.

I'm starting to think that Solnox's Rite of Consumption Package or the old ugin/emrakul package might be warranted in the new miracles heavy meta.
