  1. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

Commander was a huge boon for Wizards, and is responsible for demand on all kinds of bizarre old cards.

Note: I'm not contradicting anything you said, I just feel like taking a step back and...
  2. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

Interesting notion, have a "tournament only" print run of cards with special backs or obvious "TOURNAMENT ONLY PROXY" stamps on them? The stated intention being "these allow you to play with...
  3. Re: Where did everyone go?

I think high-quality proxies are freaking fantastic and wish more players wouldn't feel any shame in using them. I think there should be an official "look the other way" policy at FNM-level...

Re: Wizards, where are all the cute magic cards?

Everything has a home and can be balanced in some format. I'd consider putting this in a $20 Bant-Blink EDH deck. Also has some synergy if you are planning on sacrificing the cub and keeping the mama...

It feels like Dredge only gets one toy a year. And apparently Dredge is big in Modern.

    Re: Modern Horizons Spoilers

I don't expect anybody is ever going to actually suspend the thing... I suspect that for the decks that are going to fool around with it, the Suspend value ought as well be 7.

    Re: War of the Spark

I really really really want this card to be Legacy playable. The strategery behind it looks like a blast.

    Should be totally playable, right?

    Re: War of the Spark

Eh, I can see it as a 1-of in a Sneak Attack/ Dragon Stompy hybrid.

Maybe out of the sideboard in a RB reanimator too, as a castable Plan B against a slower deck.

    Re: War of the Spark

How do you get enough permanents to do anything with that in Legacy though?

Maybe at the top of black-red burn, where it isn't a fast combo but some inevitability. Fireblast is cool, but it seems...

    Re: Jeff Zandi Tribute

Every Tuesday for 21 years is an impressive feat. I'd love to leave a Legacy like that, much less have a pedigree and family tree at the highest levels.

I didn't know the first pro tour was seeded...

    Re: [PRIMER] Oozing

Triskelion was a fine card against DnT, if you could reanimate it.

I guess Ballista is better and something you can play as a 4 of, save your reanimation for game winners. What matchups do you...

    Re: [DTB] UWx Miracle Control

Do you guys really want to live in a world where Miracles has a good matchup against Goblins? I swear there were a few years there where the only thing Goblins was good at was beating Miracles.

Re: So is this forum officially dead?

I miss the hell out of good forums. But then again I hardly post on the few that remain, so I'm part of the problem.

Re: Do you use "mascot" cards?

I'll do this to lower the power level of Commander decks.

Deck too good? Then play a certain number of Frozen Shade, Poultrygeist, Scathe Zombies, Crimson Hellkite, Pearled Unicorn, Bird Maiden,...

    Re: [Deck]BUx Reanimator

I've played Ground Seal in Necrotic Ooze Reanimator, before the Sensei's Top ban; it seems about like the same card as Silent Gravestone but a different part in the curve.

    Re: Reanimator question

I think it's an example of people realizing that sometimes cantrips just make the fast combo deck a bit too durdly.
