*loses his entire collection, D+T finally makes it to DTB. FML.
I rarely if ever find myself siding out Mangara, he's just too useful. And side boarding has always been a little awkward with this deck, even more so since my sideboard typically has 2-3 E Tutors...
Hey, quit playing Legacy for two years, but I'm back and I've noticed some key changes. A few questions:
Batterskull- Seems kinda bad without SFM. Why it over a Sword of X and Y?
Judges...
With the most recent bannings, I am sleeving up D+T again and changing the board an E Tutor based one. What do ya'll think of Nevermore from Innistrad? I like the looks of it, and the WW in its...
I like him, but he doesn't grant the same protection on the other players turn. All they have to do is wait to draw and untap before slaying your dudes.
Just a quick question Finn, why SoLaS over Sword of War and Peace?
ASOK, glad to finally see you on The Source. Welcome. I am sad though, I have been wanting to show you how the deck works on MWS for months now. These dudes have explained it pretty well to ya, I...
I would consider Burn a "baseline" deck since its a cheap and consistant deck. Chances are, in a local event, burn will be around if you have new players or if people can't afford decks with playsets...
So Finks is better because of one matchup? If I was worried about Lavamancers I would not be playing a deck with: Flickerwisp, Mangara, Mom, and all the other goodies that die to shock.
Are you...
I used 3 Mirran Crusaders tonight in the slot that was previously 3 Kitchen Finks tonight. Must say, I LOVED using him. Nobody really gave a damn when he hit the field, until Crusader started coming...
I haven't used him in Legacy, but I know he is a BEAST at the local FNM if he gets equiped.
Ugh, I went from to a pair of tourneys this week and only went 2-2. I am considering Relic-Warders for the SB, but I haven't been to happy with Phyrexian Revoker. It could just be 2 bad showings in a...
You see, this is what gets me. The Rock used to be a deck that was heavily creature based, thats why it was called The Rock (and his millions). Nowadays it looks nothing like what it should. I guess...
It seems more like people are just splashing Mangara in various archtype nowadays. Dead Guy and Taxes. The Rock and Taxes. I wonder what the next one will look like?
I wasn't trying imply that there was only two targets.
Depending on the build they are running, he can shut down Grim Lavamancer and Knight of the Reliquery.
My suggestion would be to remove O-Ring. I did that a couple of weeks ago and I have never looked back on the decision. That way you can keep the Kitchen Finks (which are just awesome against Zoo)...
Why are people having trouble with Etched Champion? Both Jitte and SoFaI handle him easily.
He does act as a kinda o-ring that comes off of aether vial. I do like Revoker, he will be probly take Needles spot in my SB.
This new sword is not the one I was hoping for.
I actually run a kinda equipment heavy version of D+T. As of now, I have two "x" slots in my main that are currently being filled by two Kitchen Finks. When Besieged drops, I will be testing out two...
Hey Aaron, its Dan. I like your lists, the more aggressive one seems like fun. The card advantage in the form of Mask of Memory is interesting, but have you considered Lightning Greaves? It serves as...
changed my SB a little, there was a slight change in my Meta. 3x Kitchen Finks has to be my new favorite sb choice. They are great in my 3 whatever slots.
I actually use Kor Duelist and Goldmeadow Harriers. Harriers are more useful for EOT tapping, and then tapping down the final blocker. Mom is good at stopping removal, yes, but I find her useless in...
Cataclysm? That card has been used, set aside, used some more, and put on a shelf.
Wow, NO. I can agree that Mom is a strong card. BUT like most decks there are more controlling versions and more aggro ones. I myself am running a very aggro D+T list, Moms only slow it down. In my...
