Just loop Pia and Kiran Nalaars with Karakas until your opponent concedes. On a similar note, Brimaz isnt bad vs Czech Pile but is still much worse than P+K.

Treat the match up like how you would play vs Shardless BUG and just try and leverage your own mana advantage. Its close and grindy, and Wastelanding them will hurt you more than it will hurt them....
If you think about having a maindeck Canonist vs, say, a Sneak and Show deck, the Canonist is infinitely worse than the Spirit.
Its also a 3rd Ethersworn Canonist pre-boarded in the maindeck. Except instead of being an Arcane Lab effect (except in the case vs Elves), it just makes virtual card advantage instead. Its also run...
I would also like to point out that sometimes you just end up with Basic Plains, played mediocre creatures and lose because none of the lands you drew were interactive. It definitely goes both ways...
Not to mention snap keeping the Karakas + Port hands anyway, get Wastelanded and pray that your next topdeck will be another white source.
Has anybody been playing Enevoldesen's Ancient Tomb list lately? I just want to know what common problems people have been dealing with. Also, stuff like whether Containment Priest and/or Eldrazi...
It is usually common practice to board down to 2x Moms vs fair decks that use Black mana, only to avoid getting yourself 2-for-1ed too often.
As a player of both the new Miracles and Death & Taxes, I will say that the best card vs the Miracles deck is a modest Sanctum Prelate for 1. Palace Jailer is fine, but swingy. The new Miracles is on...
Will vouch that Eetai is best authority when it comes to working on Recruiter Taxes builds. He helped me when I was still working on mine awhile back.
He was explaining why his sideboard looked the way it did to me today.
It was a match up I had never played against before so I had no idea.
I talked to a Big Red player today and he seems to be under the impression that DnT's entire cardpool is on average better than anything he could be doing unless he lines up on the play with above...
That looks like a meta where you want 2x Ratchet Bombs in the SB and a another Prelate or two in the maindeck. I always play at least two copies main because of the paranoia of playing vs Show and...
I would say just keep practicing this deck. Your decklist looks pretty stock and its a harder deck to play than it seems on paper.
Can we play a list that slants heavier towards black so that we can mitigate the damage of maindeck Dismembers or is that just not worth it?
Also, speaking of the color Black, I am going to try...
Not to mention Aether Vial. Also, Batterskull has been fantastic for me too. And Revokers.
Also Karakas. Thalia loses little utlity after your opponent starts drawing the right lands.
My friend once said that a component of this deck is also that of a Karakas-abuse deck among other...
More often than not the way people build their Wr builds is often based on their Monowhite builds. I have never played less than 4 Phyrexian Revokers maindeck and usually my Wr build will reflect...
Everything Monowhite does vs a TNN is what RW does as well. We just Revoker whichever equipment they have in play, then try and threaten a scary crackback using Batterskull as our leading unit.
Yes. Many Monowhite decks have done this. I would still stick with Cunning Sparkmage if you can. If TNN is the primary concern I would recommend that you find answers for theit equipment instead.
I might go back to playing the 4th Wisp. I had originally cut the 4th Wisp because I wanted to find a way to put Pia and Kiran Nalaar in the maindeck. Once resolved, it was as good or better than...
Unless they lead with a DRS it is often hard for them to maintain holding a mana for Stifle. Could always bait Stifles with SFMs and Recruiters. Generally for me, it's always been the other way...
Just practice vs Stifle Delvers. Stifle is a skill testing card for both sides and is something everybody in Legacy has to learn how to deal with.
As a person who has effectively been on Red since Conspiracy 2 came out I will just say that with 5 fetchlands, 2 duals and 3 Basic Plains your mana base is still rock solid if you're playing against...
Wirewood Symbiote on the draw and more chances of finding an answer to Sneak Attack. Also an answer to Planeswalkers without having to rely on Revokers is nice.
Moving forward I will continue to...
