Compulsive Research looks way better than Thirst for Knowledge imo, especially if you play some Life from the Loam. Maybe you could try a full ste of Loams and Mox Diamonds instead of Chrome Moxen...

Linux, congrats to your finish! Your deck looks very well tuned and must be a blast to play (Pacts are sooo sexy in Storm Combo). Your SB looks really well too, but I was never a fan of Angel's Grace...

Here are some more ideas:

Remand - Reamnd looks like a potentially strong tempo card under Winter Orb, since it grows both Dryad and Coatl and "hardcounters" most of the cards opponents play.

@Stefan: I don't really get your Sb plan against Control/Thresh...You already have 8 MD protection and still want to bring in 4 more Pacts and 4 Confidants, which don't play well with the life...

Is it possible that we could get the lists? I would like really to see Brassman's Painter list. UBG sounds a lot like Epic Paint, but I guess Andy build it differently.

I played ITF to a 5-0 finish in a 29 man tourney.
I beat Affinity, White Stax, UB Dreadstill, Burn and Goblins - all 2-0.

Great Deck, Oracle was okay.

Vendilion Clique looks like another efficient flying beater which also disrupts your opponents hand.
The downside is probably the fact, that he dies to a Mogg Fanatic very easily. But Gilded Drake...

I played Pat MCGregors exact list today to a 4-0 record in a small local tourney. I only replaced the Thorns with 3 Offalsnout and 1 Shriekmaw for the mirror and/or Dredge which I expected more...

First, very nice list! I absolutely agree with you on the 27 lands and 0 Dev. Dreams.

But I have a question: you did not expect any Ichorid oder Aggro Loam, did you? Your SB doesn't adress these...
