    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

My testing group has been pretty content with Equipoise as a sideboard answer to Chalice of the Void, Trinisphere, Leovold, Notion Thief, Spirit of the Labyrinth, Ethersworn Canonist, Thalia(s),...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

Also wanted to share that my friend Curtis got a feature match on stream at the TJ's Titanium Series event last weekend. Unfortunately he lost the match (4-2 overall, with both players that beat him...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

For those of you who've been testing with / playing Cast Out, care to share your impressions of the card? Looking at traditional Exile-based enchantments, I've always found that a case could be made...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

If they're dead cards late game, that means your engine is already online, and having a few dead cards doesn't matter. If you don't have an enchantress on board (because it got countered, discarded,...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

While part of me really wants to see enchantress run Mindmoil, I'm pretty sure that nothing printed so far is good enough to justify a red manabase. But for real tho. Mindmoil. Because this deck...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

Say what you want about your card evaluation, but I'm on the exact same page. CB and CotV are definite concerns for streamlining the deck to almost exclusively 1-drops. Conveniently, Aura of Silence...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

Didn't mean to come off as critical - trying to fit in feedback during my rushed lunch break. The deck is definitely a blast to play and watch, so I hope you enjoy it. I actually missed the Wooded...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

I normally wouldn't support 4 Sterling Grove, but it makes a lot of sense if your meta is heavy on GBx decks. IMO, there is no reason to run fewer than 4 GSZ. You're essentially saying that you're OK...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

My friend Curtis continues to put up results with Enchantress, and as long as he continues not to have an account on The Source I'll continue to post the results on his behalf so you can keep up to...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

If you're running humility you need access to at least one copy of O-ring. The_Dingo runs multiple copies of that type of effect, so he opts for Banishing Light main deck and the O-ring in SB. Curtis...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

I don't think Moon does enough. They still run a basic forest, so even if you manage to get G2 by cutting them off pump spells (not sure how likely that is) it won't be an effective strategy G3....

    Curtis' list from SCG NJ:

    4 Enchantress's Presence
    4 Green Sun's Zenith
    1 Eidolon of Blossoms
    4 Wild Growth

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

Lashazior is spot on. Sterling Grove's resurgence is primarily a reaction to the DDT ban &increased viability of GBx (Abrupt Decay) decks. It has the added benefit of protecting Solitary Confinement...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

I'm a strong advocate for the synergy between Mirri's Guile and fetchlands. I think that it strengthens a lot of the grindy matchups by increasing the likelihood that you find relevant cards (usually...

    Re: [Deck] Solitaire (Enchantress)

Curtis is good friends with The_Dingo and I. Nice to see him finally get a result on the big stage after all the work he's put into the deck. I'm pretty sure he doesn't frequent The Source, but I'm...
