Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I actually think that Mox Diamond should just replace Chrome Mox. You're dropping lands you probably don't/won't need and keeping the spells you can play with them.

I dunno about you guys but I'm happy about DRS because it means we can be a true WB deck ^_^

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

This thread is history! Stay with it. It's the oldest active one, started during Legacy's year 1 and it's on a deck that has managed to stay relevant.

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

When Cruise was in the format I had 4 RiP mainboarded, Bitterblossom instead of Souls, and Helm. Was pretty awesome.

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

LotV was great. Because of Bitterblossom making threats, you can discard decent-ish cards to keep your opponent's hand empty/their board clear. She was often used as creature removal as well.

    The...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

I'd considered Mox but the deck would lose some of its control for speed and speed's not really what it's about. BB's so great because it is both offense and defense in the now and later. Tutor's the...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

Fair enough. Back then I had been talking about it instead of Bob, but it's been a long time since I played the deck. Also, with everyone talking about blue's filtering being so key - how has...

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

A long time ago I talked about playing Bitterblossom in this deck. The card's awesome and can just win games. It gets even better later on if you've boarded in Zealous Persecution to fight Young...

Now's the time to buy them on SCG (not that they aren't super expensive anyway).

MD RiP. It hoses a lot of cards/decks. Tarmogoyf, DRS, Mongoose, Snapcaster, etc etc.

Doesn't make it Deadguy either though. Anyway, don't really want to debate this.

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

Not to mention any green spells make this no longer Deadguy Ale.
