    Whenever I play a 3rd karakas in any deck, it occupies a spell-slot. I'd guess you'd do fine with 20 lands... Silent Clearing would in a sense fill the same...

    Unfortunately, Karakas only targets creatures.

    Still a good card to include, but due to less utility you might want to shave one.

    I'd say it's the opposing Karns and also the fact that metalworker is fragile and needs to dodge removal for a turn to do work, compared to Rock+Key into walker/mystic forge which produces value...

    My experience with Etched Champion has been that it does too little on its own, with equipment it was great though... so I've been on 4x Hangarback for a long time, as it's good vs non-white removal...

    Isochron Scepter with an imprinted card such as Fire//Ice should be GG with Engine and a Monolith ... then again you would need atleast a light blue splash...
