    Re: U/G Enchantress

Thanks for you answers benthetenor & Forlorn Egoist. I'll keep the Carpets in and try to get more actual games played with the deck.
Fun fact: I had this deck built in 2003 in the old extended and...

    Re: U/G Enchantress

    Hi,

Has anyone considered Mana Blooms maindeck instead of the 2 Carpet of Flowers. In my limited testing I've found them pretty good. Compared to Carpets, they're never "completely dead" and the...

    Hello,

I've tried various configurations of the Jund Zombies deck and found out during my limited playtesting that the less I change cards from the original build with white the better it works....

What about Blazing Shoal to make use of Thunderous Wraths in hand for the times when one doesn't have Brainstorm to fix things?

    Re: [Deck] Blue Zoo

The plays you list involve a certain magic wonderland, but the ability to have a nut draw is also a sign of somewhat good deck. That said, I won't argue further without proper playtesting. Those...

    Re: [Deck] Blue Zoo

    Hello,

I used to play with the Caleb Durwalds Big Blue Zoo when Mental Misstep was still legal. I really enjoyed the deck, but kind of forgot it totally when the "novelty value" was gone.

    Re: [Deck] Aggro Loam

That's absolutely true. What the deck gains compared to the modern version is Mox Diamonds for acceleration and Punishing Fire/Grove combo. I just don't know yet if that's enough :)

    Re: [Deck] Aggro Loam

    Hello,

Last saturday I played a stock jund list in a 5 round tournament here in Finland. I started out 3-0 against UB delver, burn and a homebrew bgw loam with new Sorin's and such. After that I...

    Re: [Deck] Aggro Loam

I haven't been playing Aggro Loam in a long time, but it has always been one of my favorite decks. The printing of the new Liliana made me interested in the deck again, in addition to Antonius's...

    Re: Meandeck MUD

Yes, one card and the top. But it's 1 colorless mana for one card which isn't exactly a shitty deal (assuming you have the key in play). If you have two Voltaic Keys, you can get 2 cards and the top...

    Re: Meandeck MUD

SDT is an excellent 'draw engine' in a deck that plays 4 Voltaic Keys. You also need enough cheap artifacts to reach metalcraft for Mox Opals.

I'm currently testing the 2nd place Indy list with the following changes: -1 Voltaic Key, -2 Sensei's Divining Top, -1 Myr Battlesphere, +4 Ichor Wellspring.

The synergy of the Wellspring with...

    Re: [Deck] Vial Affinity

Yeah, I'm not going to put Chalice on my sideboard since I run more 1cc spells than you do (Disciples), but Revoker is going to find it's way to the sideboard for sure. I was thinking of...

    Re: [Deck] Vial Affinity

Darksteel Citadel might be a consideration, but I just don't like being colorscrewed. 8 artifact lands also feel enough since I don't play any Frogmites or Myr Enforcers. Even with the Shores in the...

    Re: [Deck] Vial Affinity

What does a 2/2 vanilla creature really do for the deck? I just can't see how it would improve the deck in any way, and as the list is already really tight, I can't think of anything to cut for...

    Re: [Deck] Vial Affinity

The good thing is that the list doesn't really rely on Tezzeret, and I actually won easily for example one game against UW Tempo where the opponent started with turn 1 Wasteland and turn 2 Wasteland....

    Re: Tezzeret Affinity

Ancient Tomb is really good at least in the build I posted. I wouldn't play that many lands though, but I'm thinking of going -1 Springleaf Drum +1 Swamp or -1 Signal Pest +1 Swamp if I feel...

First of all I want to say that I have just recently acquired cards for Affinity so I'm not really familiar with the 'known problems' of the deck etc. Thus, I can't really say if the build...

Nicely done. Even more so I'm happy to see that your list is so close to mine and it did well. I play 21 lands and only 3 Wastelands to 'make green mana better' and still I find myself with not...
  25. Re: [Deck] UG Madness - Aggro-Control

Brainstorm seems to divide people in two camps. I can't see myself playing without them, but I've also dropped Stifles and cut Wastelands to three. I love my current list and I really want to play...
