    Re: [Deck] MonoU OmniTell

That doesn't work. When you cast Wipe Away, Counterbalance will trigger, but you can't respond with Trickbind, since Wipe Away has split second and still on the stack.

It seems like a last minute testing slot. He probably forgot about having FF in the board, when he swapped it with Impulse (or whatever he was previously playing). Another likely cause, in the same...

    Re: [Deck] MonoU OmniTell

I find running Pacts a small opportunity cost, given how much they help improve your Delver matchup. If you don't plan on facing at least one Delver based deck in whatever tournament you are...

Re: [DTB] ANT (Ad Nauseam Tendrils)

    These four should suffice:

    Adam Prosak: Legacy Storm Primer.

Timo Schünemann: The Legacy Laser - UBR Ad Nauseam Tendrils.

Carsten Kotter: Eternal Europe - The Cabal Rises.

    Ari Lax: Legacy...

    Re: Omniclash and Omnimaniac

A friend of mine suggested Teferi's Realm. I haven't tested it, and it seems a bit clunky, but should be really flexible since it can answer all kinds of permanent based hate; even in multiples and...

    Re: Omniclash and Omnimaniac

Played the deck in a small local tournament yesterday. There's not much to tell about the tournament as a whole, except for two situations that came up during round one against White Stax.

    On my...

    Re: Omniclash and Omnimaniac

I assume this is just a minor brainfart since Enter the Infinite says that you have no maximum hand size (until your next turn). Hence you don't have to discard, which in turns, makes the situation...

    Re: [Deck] Cunning Halls

Well, I'm not sure, this is the thread to be locked ;). Mine is written in the style of a generic primer whereas yours is written as an rhetoric argument for the oddities of your own particular list....

    Re: [Deck] Cunning Halls

Yeah, this primer is only half way finished, but I'm inclined not to finish it, if mods decide to lock it up. I'm not sure which primer is the best. Lejay is very focused on his own list whereas mine...

    Re: [Deck] Cunning Halls

    Thank you.

The way you describe it, is how games against blue non-wasteland plays out. I'm currently playing a 3/1 split. This has been quite okay in my very limited testing, and the extra...

Oh well, did take the time to write a small primer anyways. Check it out: http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?26059-Deck-Cunning-Halls

I know. It's just that people kept repeating the same questions in the original Omniscience thread; questions which I've now mostly covered and actually didn't belong in a thread covering the Burning...

    Re: [Deck] Omniscience

This is actually an issue I would like to put up to debate. I don't find leylines necessary. Back in the day, when you only played four Dream Halls and you could pitch extra leylines to Conflux, they...

This might be a silly question (or even answered already), but say that I've resolved Mindslaver against my opponent who is playing Dredge. If I use his turn to flashback a Cabal Therapy and he has...

    Re: [Deck] Omniscience

Yes and no. The primary reason is because of its cmc, however it does have other purposes. To combat Counterbalance, I board in Lab Man and Trickbind. When EtI resolves, I play Cunning Wish. I they...

    Re: [Deck] Omniscience

Well, neither Release the Ants nor Lab. Man works without resolving EtI, so you have to get rid of Teeg in both cases.
Foresight is needed to make Cunning Wish a better kill, when it is paired with...

Abrupt Decay is only uncounterable. It does not have split second. When you have shuffled Lab. Man into your deck, play two Ponders, play the Lab. Man and play a third Ponder. If they play Decay,...

    Re: [Deck] Omniscience

@emidln: Your list seems really solid, and it might be worth sacrificing strength vs. Counterbalance for not running main deck win conditions and gaining access to Pact of Negation. My only concern...

    Re: [Deck] Omniscience

I really like the Lab Man kill, and it was my primary win condition in my early testing, however, what I don't like about it is, that it turns an active Counterbalance into a real threat (the same...

In my experience, your worst matchups are RUG Delver, Team America (Tempo BUG), Reanimator, Dredge, and Storm (if they know how to play out the matchup; play out LEDs and petals to pay for your...
