    Re: Is Legacy too broken?

The dragon is garbage now. All of the cards you list are legal in Classic and the deck has no results. Dragon was nuts before the printing of the cards you mentioned along with Extirpate, the...

Play MTGO, but then you still run into this:

Re: Anyone tired of the power creep in fatties?

While they're starting to push to the other extreme, for the longest time, creatures were pathetic. Serra Angel? Good only b/c the others were so bad. In fact, she was removed from printings b/c...

Re: New Competitive Eternal Format Coming

Yes, cuz there are 0 copies of those cards online already. I was referring to MTGO, where MM is going to sell like 100 packs....

Re: New Competitive Eternal Format Coming

It would be the only format in this theorectical format that would be missing, plus they need a really good reaon to get people to draft that awful set.

Re: New Competitive Eternal Format Coming

Umm... Vamp Tutor wouldn't be in the format... too old.

    EDIT

And for those getting nostalgic... old bad (compared to now) decks won't win... You will see: Tendrils combo, counterbalance decks...
  8. Re: No discuss about April 2010 Update Bulletin?

Lotus vale was kind of useful for dredge now too when it wasn't that great before.

Re: New Competitive Eternal Format Coming

The one problem is solves is that it can ignore the reserve list and reprint any legal cards for the format. On the other hand, not now, but in 5 or so years, it might kill legacy. :/

Re: New Competitive Eternal Format Coming

Why do you think Merf won't roll ANT all day instead? Losing FoW sucks, but they have other options and can MD stifle x 4 to fill the void vs combo too.

Re: New "Extended Plus" format coming?

10 decks making t8 is very wide open. You are pretty dumb if you think it is not.

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

Yea, with the printing of fall, the sky is obviously too powerful, and will likely be banned in the next announcement. It is twisting the meta.

    Re: The Performance of Dredge

No one is saying that Dredge/AnT are bad, but some are positing that they are blatantly superior but that for some reason there is not much tournament evidence to back that up, other than random...

    Re: The Performance of Dredge

I don't think my opponent had awesome hands, but I 2-0'd dredge tonight in a 2man on MTGO... I was running Zoo. G1, Path on his Tribe or Imp was enough to slow him down, then a bolt on my dude later...

    Re: The Performance of Dredge

Softest compared to... GPs and PTs... right, so it's not as hard as a a tournament where the T64 will consist of a high % of pros.

    Re: The Performance of Dredge

He is saying that everyone is somehow so stupid that they're playing decks without the Legacy equivalent of Ancestral, which is apparently combo? Even if Zoo puts up the best results (this year)...

    Re: [article] Attacking is Miserable

I guess I just went 2-1 vs ant, 2-0 vs enchantress, and 2-0 vs goblins with zoo on MTGO, and the games that i won, it seems like there were very few outs (ANT could have won G1 with a NUTS hand, but...

    Re: [article] Attacking is Miserable

You mean the way that Zoo can ignore whatever their opponent plays, maybe removing a key card (creature, enchantment, whatever), and smoking the opponent on turn four? Seems extremely fair.

    Re: [article] Attacking is Miserable

I guess I disagree a little with the idea that Zoo is fair, at least totally. How is playing a 3/3 for one mana fair? Similiarly, cards like lightning bolt, Goyf, and PoP aren't exactly fair...

  25. Re: Raise, raise, raise. The price of cardboard

Also, SCG tends to set their prices a LITTLE high, but they respond to supply and demand. If the butcher sits at $20, it is not because they're pricing him $10+ too high, it is because people are...
