    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I have no idea what makes you think you can even remotely compare Vintage Doomsday with Legacy Doomsday. Not only don't we get to tutor for the same cards, the format is completely different. I...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Emrakul has this little thing that says it can't be countered. These two wins aren't even comparable.

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Most lists should be able to fish on turn 3 quite consistently. Probe/IU lists are a little faster because you don't need a LED to win.

The main reason to run IU is the fact that it enables...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I have another one for you that works as well:

    LED Probe LED BW Blank

Probe->LED, BS-> Probe LED BW putting back blank + BW. Cast double LED Probe->BW->ToA

    Petal Ritual DD Probe LED...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

It is at least very strong vs. Reanimator. I'm not sure if this deck can afford to board it in against forms of aggro-control.

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I don't understand running Scrubland. The card is very bad pre combo, and when comboing, you're going to need white and black anyway. That means you're still going to need at least another black or...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Really? The last time I saw Meddling Mage must have been a couple of years ago. And with good reason. The card is terrible.

Solid argumentation. It's just so bad to cut a dead card.

    The...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

What's this based on? I don't ever intend to win with Tendrills through anything but Doomsday. If we look at useful Doomsday piles strictly, you can see the mainboard ToA doesn't help much at all....

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I run a full set of Petals, and I don't think I want to change that any time soon. The Petals actually make your mana work much better. I'm very often able to win through a Wasteland because I have...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Imo it's not necessarily the fact that there are tons of different Doomsday piles. Most of them are easily made, and you're in general not using more than a couple standard ones. The difficulty lies...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

How good is this list under AdN? I wrote down a very similar list a while ago when looking to replace the Grim Tutors in Ari Lax's list.

Why don't you run Emrakul sideboard?

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I highly doubt cutting Wish for colour reasons is a good idea. Try cutting in the amount of basics you run first. If you don't run Wish, you will be forced to run IT and both IGG and ToA mainboard. I...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Isn't Infernal Tutor terrible in the blue matchup for this deck? You can't IGG them, and IT --> DD costs 8 mana.

How have the Carpets been? Do you board them in against Merfolk, or anything else...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Because the card allows you to wait and set up. AdN requires you to be fast, which leads to losses to random FoW + Dazes and stuff like that. Doomsday gives you the opportunity to sculpt a strong...

After a little testing yesterday against Landstill, Tempo Thresh (where I was definitely negative :( ) and ANT, I found I don't like some stuff about the list Emidln posted. I was going to suggest...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I agree that the Scepter is potentially awesome. I like the idea of Enlightened Tutor as well, but only because this deck is so reliant on Top.

How scared is this deck of Chalice by the way? I...
