    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Just, ever so slowly, working my way towards giving the non-red build a try. Quick question, how are you working around the extra storm that the wish provides?

I can imagine situations where you'd...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Interesting approach and I applaud you for trying it out. I hope you keep at it... We need way more data than a single league to really make any kind of assessment.

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Thanks for the replies. Back when last I played the deck I ran just 1 petal and then 3 wish, 2 treasure cruise.

I like going up to 2 petals in lieu of one of the cruises, not sure what the other...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Looking to pick up some doomsday on mtgo again and give this another whirl. Has anybody had any luck using Dark Petition in any way, shape or form? I'm thinking about including one in the main deck....

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I'd be really interested in trying this list out (or something close to it). A few remarks:

    - 15 lands seems low with only 1 petal.

    - I'd love to fit in a singleton Lab Man in the main, but I'm...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I've played the Menendian Lab Man UB list quite a bit and I actually didn't find the "only 4 key cards" to be a problem. Which is to say that I think you were able to find and cast a Doomsday an...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Nice read Namida, grats on some good results.

How often would you estimate that you need to win through Lab Man? And also, when you do, how often are able to fit in the sphere? Could you walk us...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I understand what you are trying to say, but I think this is false statement nonetheless. Discard makes DTT better than Silence makes DTT. But if DTT without discard but with Silence is still good...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Fantastic read. It is very much appreciated.

Just a few questions about your build:

    - 4x silence with only 1 Tundra as a white producing land seems loose, have you tried other line ups with...

    Hey Kai,

This is a bit of an aside, but do you know if there will coverage in English of the gp main event?

I would like to give a big thumbs up to you, bennotsi, for deciding to post here. I would love for this thread to have more input from some of the seasoned DDFT players. I know there are the...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

I get what you are saying. And while I do think people have a tendancy to overrate Silence in the storm matchup (Past in Flames says hello) I do think Silence effects have an edge over discard spells...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

It also does come up that you have a Burning Wish, a Doomsday, a Dark Ritual and an LED in hand but no top in play and no other draw-spell in hand. It might still be an issue to go off in the same...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

Edge teeters right on the... edge (ho ho ho) of being justifiable. I will guestimate that I wish for it once every 5 or 6 games. I love having the option to wish for a 0CMC draw "spell" and will...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

So, going against my better judgment I decided to play a daily with DDFT on mtgo and just went 3-1

My list is very close to the recent performing lists.

    I faced:

    Rnd 1: Death and...

This is still with sleep in my eyes so bear with me. But if the probe was a brainstorm how about this pile:

    Line: petal(3), brainstorm...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

    This should work:

Dark rit(1), doomsday(2), probe drawing probe (3), probe drawing brainstorm (4), petal (5), cast brainstorm (6) drawing...

    Re: [Deck] Fetchland Tendrils

    Howdy all.

I'm new to Doomsday but not to legacy storm decks (how many first time posts in this thread start out like this, huh! )

I've picked up a list close to what Sillysam played in...
