    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

This is my current list which has been tearing up the local meta:

    21 Land:
    3 Tundra
    2 Polluted Delta
    3 Flooded Strand
    4 Wasteland
    4 Mutavault
    5 Island

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

Seems not as good as Jitte. SoFI isn't a bad card but everything you want it to do against Goblinescue decks Jitte does at least just as well (if not better) at one mana less. Pro red is far less...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

This is such flawed logic I can hardly follow you. You are ignoring half the card. Level up is a severly overlooked mechanic right now, that is exactly what happens when something new comes out. ...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

    This.

Another thing that needs to be recognized as well is the fact that this guy is great topdeck post Firespout or whatever. It is 1 card that can swing and win by itself without overextending....

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

There needs to be a point when a card that can actually win the game by itself outweighs the argument of 'it dies to removal' Of course there is the chance he dies to bolt after 4 mana is spent on...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

Just posted this in the RoE discussion thread:
    New Merfolk Lord
    UU
    Level up 1
    [Level 2-3] : Flying | 3/3
    [Level 4+] : Flying, other Merfolk you control get +1/+1. | 4/4.
    2/2

    So he starts as...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

There is a SCD thread about this guy. And I think I speak for everyone when I say he really isn't that great. Sure there is potential to be huge, but what happens when you draw him turn 4? What...

    Re: [DTW] Merfolk

Going to test this build in a heavy, HEAVY red aggro meta because I am a glutton for punishment. I don't have any standstills at the moment and Mutavaults are on their way.

    20 Land:
    4 Flooded...

Re: [Deck] Triton's Minions after Monrningtide

I must say I one hundred percent agree with a splash, in my personal list Sygg was very good with vial. And even without he demands removal because if you untap with him in play his effect can be...

Re: [Deck] Triton's Minions after Monrningtide

ive actually tried him, and he seems pretty 'win more' to me. i would rather have something like cold eyed selkie which can draw on its on. also, river cutthroat is a pretty awful topdeck after a...

Re: [Deck] Triton's Minions after Monrningtide

i dont understand why bouncing a permanent could be anywhere near as good as removing it from the game. removal is a perfectly legitimate reason to splash a color, bouncing is an option to remove a...

Re: [Deck] Triton's Minions after Monrningtide

you just answered your own question, white has the most useful, powerful spot removal spell ever printed, and a small splash is more than worth it. its not just pile driver, and in anything outside...

Re: [Deck] Triton's Minions after Monrningtide

just piloted this list to a first place finish at my local shop. pretty small tourney but some very tier decks. i think there was 14, but they included solidarity, nightmare survival, UGr thresh,...
