Good catch, I have removed the offending references. At some point I'll rework the card section altogether to include more appropriate, up to date information for present staples and tech.
OP updated, broken links fixed, lots of new resources added, and list updated
imo your best line of play here is to concede the game :V
Hey guys. I've updated the OP with a few key things: up-to-date sample decklist, revised card explanation section, added FAQs section, and removed deprecated information. At this time my primary goal...
G1 he's not too much of a big deal on his own unless your hand is just garbage, but G2-3 when he can draw into like a Flusterstorm it's not fun. I'll need to update the OP one of these days for this...
Agreed. New BUG is a pain.
Between Cabal Ritual, Dark Petition, and Past in Flames, ANT certainly utilizes the grave more than most other storm variants, but grave hate is nothing that can't be played around. I'd much rather...
It's that time again, I'll be researching, playtesting, and updating the guide in the weeks to come. Best of luck in your matches everyone, and may the storm count be ever in your favor.
I've actually been using Disfigure, with the added benefit of killing those filthy shamans.
Swarm and Top are valuable against BUG, I'd expect at least 1 Top main to be more common again.
At least people stopped advocating LDV *shudder*
RIP DTT muahahahahaha
Thanks, I haven't scoured the web for articles since I first wrote up the other. Further additions are welcome!
Also consider that any given vintage deck can run 5-10 very relevant artifacts, combined with the fact that vintage storm is so jam packed with high powered effects that it has room to spare, kinda...
I actually play with one each Watery Grave and Steam Vents, with a Breeding Pool in the board, and it works fine. Obviously it's not as good, but when there's a choice between shocks and not playing...
Nice result, stick it to those dirty Delvers

Scherer tops yet again, way to go!
EDIT: Ok, after a lot more testing, Dark Petition is the nuts. It fits our deck philosophy extremely well, and it's definitely here to stay.
I see you realize what the original art is depicting
I'd be very interested to hear what he has to say about it. I'd very much appreciate him writing an article or something.
I'm super excited guys, finally put the deck together IRL! With ten...
Don't eat sandwiches with tendrils in them kids.
That's Scherer's List (almost like the movie). Dark Petition is way better than I thought too, I am of the opinion that everyone should definitely try that list out. Going down to 14 lands is more of...
You know, this exercise reminds me. I'd like to establish a standard storm notation (gimme your SSN!). I think what wonderPreaux did is pretty much what we want, with mana colors clarified if...
My opinion on Dark Petition has changed. It's a great card, I definitely recommend everyone try it out.
