  1. Re: The Lock [Full Primer] The Ultimate Modern Prison Deck

Why would you play this deck over either eldrazi tron or lantern control?

Re: Defense of the Heart Combo (DIII)

Wincons are a little odd. Aren't you running a suboptimal number of blue cards for FoW? Also Defense of the Heart seems a little too slow to me...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

As SpeedofDark and Grokk pointed out, the M14 rules changes significantly buffed Mox Opal, meaning later copies no longer just get stuck in your hand. With that in mind, my current list has two small...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Sadly there are still 10 or so flexible slots. The rest of the list is pretty close though, thanks for noticing.

Flames removed. Consider this a warning. Insulting other members is against site...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

If you play the deck, you'll get why I think it is vastly superior to any current version of affinity. Please, please, please try it with my list BEFORE you make any modifications. Even the slightest...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Thanks for the feedback Frogger. The deck runs 7 ninjas, 4 equipments and 15 other dudes to either ninjutsu, or equip. Unless my opponent has truly absurd amounts of removal, having guys left to...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Here are some example games from a certain highly mediocre card playing application. Playing and writing is a lot harder than just playing, and I think my play suffered a little because of it. I'll...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Sorry dude, I enjoy flaming trolls, its a bad habit I know.

Jitte is stellar in the deck and for a long time was in the main. Unfortunately, Plating turned out to be just better on average, also...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

I like how you tested the deck comprehensively before you judged it. I like how you obviously copy pasted the list into your favorite mtg playing program and took the deck for a spin. I like how it's...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Thanks for the feedback ESG. I have played a number of games with this list, and many many games with the many variants this list took to get were it is now. Please keep in mind this is not an...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Right you guys are, don't know how I missed that so many times. Etched Champion is sweet it's true, but I'm pretty sure the numbers are just too tight to allow a 3CC guy that doesn't synergize with...

Re: Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

Try tapping the Citadel to play the Frogmite, and that'll fix your problem there. As for the ninjas, try em out and don't be disappointed.

Edit: NVM, I'm just bad at magic. My sincerest apologies.

Blue Lagoon: an Affinity deck that isn't terrible.

    Introduction
Affinity sucks. I know, I know, the mechanic is awesome, and does deserve to be the king of legacy just like it was in standard back in the day. Ok, perhaps not quite that good, but at...
