So, we've not restarted this project at our LGS. There is a strong Legacy community about 45 minutes away but I wanted to support the shop that's been so good to me.

So, I built a Legacy deck...

I don't think Wizards would ever reprint duals. List or not. Like you said they are functionally superior in every way, shape, and form.

Reprint policy being what it is though makes any talk of reprints almost a moot point because some of the worst of the legacy offenders are on that list.

Green can't seem to offer half the protection that blue can. Brainstorm and the Tops are used to keep the Gaea's Blessing away from your hand and in the library.

I originally did run more Gaea's Blessing. The top proved to be a pretty solid way to keep it away since end of turn mana is pretty common. But I do have to admit I'd like to fit another to be safe....

So far in testing it hasn't been bad at all.

And the clock to this deck is incredibly, incredibly slow.
