I'm going to try out a change of -1 Temple Garden, -1 Sigil of the Empty Throne for +1 Stomping Ground, +1 Assemble the Legion. Then I'm gonna try and squeeze a couple Blood Moon into the board.
4 Arbor Elf
1 Nyx-Fleece Ram
4 Courser of Kruphix
4 Eidolon of Blossoms
4 Utopia Sprawl
3 Fertile Ground
1 Greater Auramancy
4 Ghostly Prison
2 Idyllic Tutor
I cut Choke for this event, but I might try to find a way to squeeze it back in the board. I think it would have helped at least some against decks that are about casting and bouncing Batterskulls....
Made top 8 again, but lost in the quarterfinals, lol. One of these times I'll break through. 16-18 people, 5 rounds, played against:
Sneak & Show: 2-0
Miracles: 2-1
UWr Stoneblade: 1-2
Death...
Ok, have a tournament tomorrow and I'm tweaking my board some. This is my current board:
2 Surgical Extraction
2 Duress
2 Red Elemental Blast
1 Toxic Deluge
1 Golgari Charm
1 Choke
1...
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Dark Confidant
4 Tarmogoyf
3 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Thoughtseize
4 Abrupt Decay
3 Punishing Fire
3 Hymn to Tourach
2 Lightning Bolt
Ran Jund again yesterday at a tournament. There were about 22-24 people. Made top 8, but lost again in the quarters. Played against:
Death and Taxes: 1-2
Bant Miracles: 2-0
Dredge: 2-1
Death...
Kalitas sounds pretty interesting. I might shave my BBE's down to 2 and run 1 of him to try it out. The lifelink will be very welcomed in some matches.
I didn't have any problems casting it this past Saturday (save a few times my mana was under attack). The handful of times I did cast I hit only gas: either it flipped a Goyf or Bob, or a Hymn to...
Ran Jund at a tournament today. Went 4-0-1 to make T8 as #1 seed, but then lost in the quarterfinals to Infect in 3 games. Deck felt strong all day, just got some less than stellar draws against...
You could always run 1 Urborg instead of the Taiga. That's what I've been doing and I've been fine.
We had 10 people show up, attempted 4 rounds, but, in typical fashion, the store owner announced after r3 that it was being cut to a 3 round Swiss, with cut to T4. I was 2-1, but missed the cut....
I'll be running fish again tonight if all goes well. Made the changes of swapping Harbinger for Clique MD, and added 2 Back to Basics to the SB. If it fires, I'll report back.
It might not be as great as it was when everyone was packing on the cantrips to power their Digs, but I still feel it's pretty solid. It seems the overwhelming majority of decks doing well are...
It was alright. It bounced a Spitemare and a Boros Reckoner in my first round, bounced a DRS eot into Chalice @ 1 game 1, bounced a Goyf game 2, which he followed next turn by playing two Goyfs,...
We had an impromptu Legacy event this past Saturday. I decided to take a break from Jund and run the Fish and made top 4. Pretty standard list:
4 Cursecatcher
4 Silvergill Adept
4 Lord of...
There ended up only being 4 people who showed up for the tournament so we just did a round robin. I went 1-2. The last time I played vintage there were 3 shops players and a mentors deck, so I kinda...
Not entirely related to the thread, but I'm playing in a Vintage tournament today and lacking any other options, I converted my Jund deck to Vintage. I'll report back on how this trainwreck goes....
Caleb Durward did an article and video series on Jund.

That list is 1 card off from mine. And I've been loving it.
Because he's functioning off some subjective personal principle that he restricts himself to in order to define fun for himself. But, if you don't use his principle to define fun, then the statements...
I just went to Hobby Lobby and bought a wooden cube and painted each side a different color.
I've had a few games where they'll get a DRS or Delver down, I'll play a Chalice @ 1, then use Harbinger off CoS to bounce it back to their hand and strand it.
Days Undoing seems pretty spicy. How'd that work out for you?
