Mirran Crusader dodges most of the removal of BUG decks and it`s really hard to deal for these decks. Actually they were playing Thalias.. 4-of maindeck.

Yeah, even if he costs 2 mana you rarely play him before turns 4-5 or he will die too soon and even then you do not want a hand clogged with them. I believe 2 is the optimal number as well.
