    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Yesterday on MKM Gent I played a 8 rector list for the full 9 rounds to a devastating 3-6. The good news is that with some other players Rector (most focus on Arena) was recognised as an entity to...

Are you currently at Ghent already? Btw, just played 1-2 drop in trail 1 today with Jund NicFit (with Light up the Stage)

I still play PFire NicFit nearly exclusive. Or Aggro Loam. Not playing to much lately tho. Anyhow here is a list i recently updated, biggest differences are the Dinosaurs, Chandra, ToD and the...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I feel that Nissa Vital Force is superior in this deck over Garruk Relentless, since it is not only 'hasty' combat, it can also retrieve Enchantments or Rectors(in discard scenario's) or give a...

When starting to learn NicFit i would most defenitly advice to start with a fair NicFit list. This because i believe that most comboesque versions like Scapeshift some what distract you from playing...

Mostly i side out Veteran Explorer vs Miracles and any blue based combo deck (Reanimator/storm/Sneak). Other decks i mostly don't care if i share basics, since Deed cleans up anyway or i get...

You gotta wonder, how much better is Progenitus (plus the space for NO) compared to Carnage Tyrant. Is that really worth the effort?

On the other hand, the people in this thread, including myself...

With Dryad Arbor and 4 copies of Lingering Souls, Academy Rector, and Veteran Explorer this should warrant for some additional copies of Diabolic Intent.

@Brael, Talking about lowering the curve, what does your list currently look like?

Aside of the talk about Nyx Fit, I am still comparing builds and haven't discided yet what to build/focus on.

Brutality lacks reach, I can also just cast a Plow and the spell i was gonna escalate. I want to improve the Matchups i can beat, not weaken them by trying to improve already bad matchups.

The build looks very clean. I am going to give it a spin. Thnx.

Edit: probably going to cut the Collective Brutality and Abrupt Decay for Plow#4, Vindicate and Deed #3. For the rest, i like it as...

Is there also a more standardized version of the deck, so i can at least determine what base cards i need to buy to build this? And i notice that the Starfield of Nyx version has fallen out of flavor?

I have, but not recently. Feels that its plan can be disrupted easily since it leans on Rector so heavily. So the B plan here is either more creatures for a regular fair plan or go with more combat...

The benefit of Mirri's Guile is that you can shuffle away the top 3 after you peek but before you draw (fetches).
Still i prefer Sylvan Library 1 and 2 aswell before adding Mirri's Guile.

Also i can see a Jund splash happen here, going with PFire, Liliana,...
