    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

What are you looking to extract with these? Seems really loose to bring them in vs a deck that doesn't use the GY much and attacks from multiple angles.

So true. If blue duals were cheaper I think we'd see people playing BUG builds a lot more. Siege Rhino is a joke of a card in the meta at the moment.

Good shout, great with tracker as well. Not something to really traverse for but suits the deck well, so maybe even two copies of it.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I've been toying around with a straight GB build recently with a delirium package, it's felt solid. Emrakul is an amazing top end for fair matchups, esp when you can rebuy her with twin towers. It's...

Dusting off my Explorers to play at a new LGS, first Legacy evening tonight. Been too long since playing this deck.

Not super spicy, but this should be fairly consistent. I don’t think Rhinos are...

Not in the slightest, run through these lists.

A bunch of them even have three.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

It's a 2-of maindeck in every 4c/Grixis pile at the moment, a pretty convincing argument against it.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Kolaghan's Command is a huge part of the format at the moment (if you're playing at larger competitive events). If you're just playing at your LGS then sure, you might not see it as much as it's...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

    What a shitty response.

Guile is a very simple and proactive card, meaning theory will go a long way with it as opposed to, say, choosing a removal suite based on the metagame. I've played Nic...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Why SDT was so good in the deck was because it could hide from a Deed, I don't think Guile is a good idea in a list with three.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

AD does solve the mana problems to an extent. If you're stuck on just a few lands, regardless of whether you can cast W/B for PtE/Push with mana up to pay for Daze, the Delver player has the option...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Fwiw I play a lot of Grixis Delver and I'm very glad to see less Abrupt Decays. The uncounterable clause is a lot more relevant than you think. We need to be hyper aggressive as your late game is so...

Stifle is one of the best cards against Nic Fit, I'm not surprised you found it tough.

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Well sure, of course the hand will have an effect on this decision. But since we're discussing Vet, Therapy and SDT I'm assuming we have all three in the opener and vs unknown (so safe to assume otp...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I agree with Navsi, I lead with Vet vs unknown too. It's not about being explosive, it's about establishing your gameplan.

In the abstract, yes Vet can eat a StP. But in a known meta the decks...
