yeah, i played type 1 mostly back then. strip mine and wasteland were playable at the same time (tempest?)

if we're still running CMC 2 as our business spells (Hymn, Bitterblossom, Smallpox and Bloodghast)

did anyone try a list with Ammit Eternal?
if they block, they lose 3 life and if they cast spells then cards like the rack and shrieking affliction become better.

and since it's a zombie, play it...

the 4x shrieking affliction is probably a very good addition; i've played it in modern 8 rack, but never legacy.
if your opponent keeps cards in hand to avoid the 3 life loss, then all your discard...

Check the timing rules on madness and asylum visitor since you may have to sacrifice it during the resolution of a smallpox like obstinate baloth.
If it only gets value on a lili +1, then prolly not...

If I ran a list similar or even identical to Adachi-san's list, would having 4 Hypnotic Specters (in the side) be good tech?

i like that his -2 makes an artifact creature since that will play nice with the abyss.
the only drawback is that it feels like "BIG" pox; you need to get to 4 mana or play rituals.

I like your list, it's "landsy". If I made it, I'd go with Mirri's Guile over Sylvan Library just to have more first turn plays...

Sigarda has hexproof so can't be targeted by pharaoh, but you can target another attacking creature if you were attacked by sigarda and another creature.

i tried it with entomb, "in response to you declaring attackers, i cast entomb"
you don't have to declare targets so if an opponent asks you what card, it just resolved...

didn't the spell already resolve if you named the card?
