    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    @Morbid-

    Pity it didn't work out for you as well as you'd hoped. Like I said before I think Landstill is quite vulnerable in the first rounds because of random decks that are difficult to handle....

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    I went to the same tournament as well.

    Result was 4-1-1 and got stuck on 9th place.

    I had an unlucky draw in my first match against some kind of stoneforge mystic deck (it's not that easy to...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    I made a mistake in the list (adapted).

    Still at 61 cards though.

    I could keep it at 61 cards I guess.
    Yesterday I played against gobs and stoneforge mystic.deck and felt I missed the 3rd...

    @Konsultant

    Thanks for the answer. I know most people here are preparing for Columbus and want to keep as much information to themselves as possible.

    I've been tinkering away and will probably...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    I'm thinking of picking up the deck again since ANT/Reanimator will lose some of their power.
    I was always happy with the UWb version but since lands and possibbly Loam will be more viable again I...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    @Morbid-

    I wouldn't read too much into that. If Madrid is any reference I think most players will look at past bigger events and make their choice.

    Since mystical is banned I would expect decks...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    Looking at the DTB section should give you an idea.

    ANT is big and is a very difficult match-up without 4-5 dedicated slots in the SB. Because you very often lose game 1 they have 2 chance of...

    I would value consistency over flexibility here. Both manabases are fine but the ones including tolaria west cave a little quicker to dedicated hate (waste + stifle,…). If very few decks pressure...

    I think descendant is a very interesting SB choice in general for landstill although I prefer kitchen finks for now because the life gain is not conditional (minor point) and finks is very useful as...

    I actually run no wishboard whatsoever because I need the space for my SB cards and because wish usually takes 2 turns to set up. IF I would use a wishboard I would want silver bullets for a number...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    I think if Iona is such a big deal in your meta, you should probably look into diabolic edict or something likewise.

    The reason is simple. Most decks using Iona (like reanimator) will only have...

    3-color landstill can withstand wasteland, stifle or vindicate but not a combination of. Recurring wasteland is a problem in itself when left...

    I'll see what I can remember from Madrid.

    Round 4: Ichorid

    Game 1: Great. My first nightmare match-up of the day :(. Game 1 I can stall just long enough to resolve humility. I...

    This is the list where I went 94th place in Madrid with.

    Match ups were

    3* merfolk
    2* painter servant
    1* dreadstill
    1* rock loam
    2* zoo
    2* ant
