    Re: Waterfalls (RUG Cascade!)

Oh, that's my list. (Also, the link is to Ethan's stream -- did Hoogland also give it a whirl?)

A couple of other folks have been messing around with the archetype. I got the original idea from...

Re: Stilljutsu - UB Ninja Still

^ Agree. Four is a lot of Misdirections. While it's great for protecting honest ninjas against fair creature-based decks the card is going to be dead in a lot of match-ups and on many board states....

    Re: [Primer] UB Death's Shadow

Hi all, I've been messing around a bit with UB Shadow online now that the London mull is legal. Agree with the Ben Friedman article about JVP being better than Delver in this kind of deck.

    Current...

Re: [Deck] TEP (The Epic Pit)

Does the deck actually need the Nic Fit ramp package or could you just play more control elements to drag the game out to naturally hit Reclamation mana? Maybe play out more as a UB control deck with...

Re: Mausoleum Secrets / Oath of Ghouls Midrange

    Savage :).

I'll have you know I'm undefeated in the Tourney Practice room online with that brew. (Sample size n=1. Plaguecrafter turns out to be good against Show and Tell => Emrakul.)

Re: Mausoleum Secrets / Oath of Ghouls Midrange

IMHO you're a little more focused on the Rock plan than the Oath plan. I guess the main question is whether Oath of Ghouls actually provides that much value in this deck? You don't have *that* many...

    Re: Buried Phoenix

Strix decks are generally very positive match-ups, but Elves and D+T can be tough IMHO. Elves can race 3 Phoenixes pretty well and discard isn't that great at stopping their combo since they're...

    Re: Buried Phoenix

I sent a bit of time testing more combo-focused builds back when Whitefaces started talking about the deck. Earlier builds had Rite of Flame and Cabal Ritual along with more payoff cards like Empty...

    Re: UBg Death's Shadow

I haven't played Shadow for a bit now... The main problems I found were that Baleful Strix makes attacking with one giant fatty awkward and that Swords to Plowshares is really good against what...

    Re: UBg Death's Shadow

Because the chip damage is largely irrelevant when you're attacking with a 5/5 or larger and the fixing isn't *that* relevant in what is essentially a two color deck. DRS is absurdly good in Grixis...

    Re: Tireless Sultai

^ There's a lot of sweetness in that (Lonestar16's) BUG list. I have to keep checking the total card count to confirm that it's only 60 cards!

I managed another 4-1 with the same Hymn/Flayer list...

    Re: Tireless Sultai

Cool list. I've been messing around with a similar BG-with-a-minor-blue-splash deck online recently and it's been doing pretty well, although I'm a bit more planeswalker heavy and am not running...

    Re: UB Ensnaring Faeries

I agree with tescren: Deathrite Shaman and Bitterblossom are best bud's. Kinda like peanut butter and jelly or some other well-known and complementary pairing.

    Re: Chalice Bomberman/Bomberman Stompy

    Yeah, that's me!

Abbot is fairly unexciting, but it gives the deck a bit more to do early game beyond Chalice while helping to dig for LED/Salvagers. I've messed around a bit with three colour...

    Re: Chalice Bomberman/Bomberman Stompy

    Morning all,

I've been experimenting a bit with Abbot of Keral Keep in a white/red build. IMHO, Abbot helps to make Salvager-less LED draws slightly better while providing another win condition...

    Re: [Deck] Grixis Tempo

Hey, I'm not totally sold on the Wasteland-less plan either, especially against a varied meta :). The card is definitely great in a lot of match-ups (Eldrazi, lands, aggro loam, depths combo).

    I...

    Re: Noble BUG

    Hi all,

I've been experimenting with a more GSZ-oriented version of the deck to some (limited) success recently:

    4 Green Sun's Zenith
    3 Noble Hierarch
    2 Deathrite Shaman
    3 Baleful Strix
