    Re: [Deck] Knights

It's a sideboard consideration. I can see it taking the place of Extirpate if Punishing Fires decks don't show up in force. I was also thinking Basilisk Collar belongs somewhere in the 75. ...

    Re: [Deck] The Rock

With the recently announced bannings to Modern, the format is wide open. Not that the newly minted format was ever limited to begin with. There's an incredible amount of deck diversity as players...

    Re: [Deck] Knights

    1. We play Crib Swap because it synergizes well with Haakon.

    2. As you yourself stated, one of the greatest weaknesses of Knights is its frailty to burn. Stillmoon Cavalier doesn’t solve that...

    Re: [Deck] Knights

I think at that point you have a whole different deck. They deck really doesn't have the slots to devote to a toolbox.

    Re: [Deck] Knights

It's an interesting idea. You dilute your deck of non-knights and I think there are more broken things you can do with Fauna Shaman. Still the deck is difficult to beat with Haakon in the yard. ...

    Re: [Deck] Zombies

Seems rather lackluster in that case. The Zombie deck is not lacking for 3-drops. The real problem is at the 2-drop position. Beyond Tidehollow Sculler I feel that we need one more great zombie at...

    Re: [Deck] Knights

Ideally you cheat Haakon into play with Aether Vial. Barring that you target yourself with Thoughtseize/Inquisition to discard Haakon in the graveyard. The latter is less ideal, hence the move...

    Re: [Deck] Zombies

I think you forgot to include the creature's casting cost... if there is one. The drawback seems pretty steep, on the level Myr Superion, which see's no play. Tombstalker this ain't.

    Re: [Deck] Knights

I think most tribal decks are itching for a "ringleader effect," not just knights. Luckily you do have some card advantage in the form of Dark Confidant and Haakon.

I would love to see another...

    Re: [Deck] Death & Taxes

    @ daugarten

By strict definition its aggro-control, but it feels much more controllish because I don't think you can out aggro ~80% of the decks in the format. Not that that's a bad thing.

    Re: [Deck] Zombies

    @ 4eak

My list is rough. Path may be the better choice, but I don't think the gap between Path and Dismember in a black deck is as wide as you think it is. When I drafted the list I wanted it to...

    Re: [Deck] Knights

As long as we're brainstorming ideas here, I suppose you could construct a Knights deck with a strong equipment package. Perhaps something like:

    Creatures: 24

    4 Puresteel Paladin
    4 Auriok...

    Re: [Deck] Death & Taxes

Ah... good old Mono White Control. It seems that your deck is a bit top heavy on three drops. I'm not sold Oblivion Ring. It seems like you're better off playing Leonin Relic-Warder...

My experience with Kinsbaile Cavalier is that the card is underwhelming. The Cavalier occupies a space at the top of the 4cc pyramid. Playing a Cavalier on an empty board doesn't...

    Auxiliary Knights

These knights didn't make the first cut, but they may a find a place in your deck depending on playstyle.

    Accorder Paladin

    Aggressively costed for a knight,...

Thanks Wizards. Archive Trap is exactly the card I was looking for. I just hope this doesn't become a money rare like Glimpse the Unthinkable.
