The problem, why I dislike this approach (posted by @bruizer) is that is nigh impossible to properly represent the reality, when analysing something like Magic.
I mean, the best example was MM1...
Depends on where you live, but here in Austria you can play Legacy every week at least semi competitive, which is nice.

I was not around back than, but the stories I heard was, that the big problem was, that Wizard just delivered the amount of cases the stores ordered. Since previously, there was only a limited print...
You are welcome (as one of its designer)
Through, I still miss one foil Japo Goryo's (have already the ger, eng and portugese one). So yeah, kinda rekt myself here.

As if there would be any difference between those two threads ;)

It wasn't that bad man, 47,4% day 2 metagame and 60,4% top 32. Yes, still bad, but not so horrendous :P
If you want a Null Rod replacement and you are in white, Stony Silence is an alternative. ...
They have and already bought some cards from me. However, they cannot ship them directly to the US (since this is forbidden) but send it to the MKM headquarters (Berlin) and they ship it to the US. ...
The only real way to stop this madness (especially for Legacy cards) is to get rid of the RL. Everything else won't help.

It was not one guy, this deck was developed on MTGSalvation since the start of the format. Cause only a handful of people are playing this deck, it never had any notable finishes.

In Europe, only the foil versions got bought up, the normal ones are still around 0,10€. Lets see, if those also will get bought up.
And yeah, if you invested in some cards (Power 9, Duals, Blood...
Nope, Theros wasn't that big of a seller. RTR had the Shock lands in it, which pulled a lot of people pack for ripping boosters. Furthermore, the EV was really high (all Shocks, Angel of Serenity,...
Just some nit picking. At that point RTR was still the most sold set, Theros was right behind it. Now Kharns is first, followed by RTR and Theros (and if I remember correct, Innistrad is pretty close...
The thing is, that many obvious cards spiked already, there aren't that many left which could/will spike again. I think, that the following cards could and probably will spike: Cryptic, Bob and Tar...
Modern staples who spikes:
Huntmaster of the Fells
Blackcleave Cliffs
Inquisiton of Kozilek
Snapcaster Mage (although it also sees play in both Legacy and Vintage)
Oliva Voldaren
Oblivion Stone...
Yeah, SCG was shopping again in Europe :frown: .

Whait, what??? The last time I checked he was like around 120€ and I didn't want to buy it back than. Huge mistake :(

Of course, Goyf isn't that important in Legacy as he used to be, but the real reason for his price tag is Modern (otherwise he would be at like 70€ or lower). Hence, Modern says no to that. Tarmogoyf...
People think, they can get Mono U Devotion working (in Standard) and Master is the most important card in this deck.

Mishra's Bauble, I mean srsly? Where sees this card even play?

It happened several times here in Europe, most notably the Duals when SCG bought them in a massive fashion. They exploded in price in 2-3 days, especially the blue ones, which went up by 90% or even...
