In a casual event you might get away with it, but I don't think it should be allowed in a competitive event.

eBay is flooded with judge foils ATM, so this might not be a bad time to look if you're interested in picking some up.

It's too bad JSS Lords are older foils and thus more prone to warping. They definitely look great.
