One of the reasons Dismember is so good is, as BedDecks mentions, it turns Trops into a mana source for removal. It's also instant speed, and is the only removal we have to get rid of <3 toughness....

Thanks for posting that list. I might cut the Chains for something else, but it looks like a refined and tested version of what I'd been thinking.

We'll stay RUG because we still want Nimble Mongoose. And by cutting Tarm for more blue spells and creatures (this seems the most likely route), we are, in fact, strengthening the mana base.
