I love that list Roodmistah
Stifle, bolt, pyroblast, daze, force, snare, pierce, counterbalance, pithing needle?
Solutions exist, and they aren't terribly narrow. Not saying naught isn't fragile, because he is, but that is...
The best way to beat plows/snapcaster is just good old CB
Which is why I said I don't think you can. I just don't see the reason to run red if white is the better option, which I am mildly convinced it is. I'd love for someone to argue the other side, but...
I really don't think firespout and a couple blasts is enough these days. Peacekeeper and a few swords is pretty good.
I had to play against Bertoncini with a RUG list. It really isn't enough.
I'd absolutely not cut CB. Just having protection against swords and what have you is amazing. The fact it can usually hit 2 and sometimes other CMC's is gravy with a deck like this, that just needs...
What would you recommend as an effective answer against GWB decks?
He isn't running manlands?
Jace is my go to in that instance, but pushing through 2 naught after an EE @2, then casting another peacekeeper has been done before. By the time you find what I want, I need the EE too.
I would run him, for this reason alone. Peacekeeper will probably stay in my board as well, if only for the merfolk I see everywhere.
Just came in 3rd out of 27 at Alternate Universes with Ubw Dreadstill. List identical to RicoSuave's a page back, minus a factory for a second EE. Kudos to you Brad, it ran like a charm.
Dreadstill doesn't run enough creatures to make use of mask, not to mention it shuts down mage. Trickbind, however, has uses without nought.
