    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

Which would suggest a more extreme approach on D&T (try out different builds, different and unusual cards...), no?
I mean, surely we would want our deck to be at least even against Tier 1 decks and...

    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

I really like Ballista mainboard lately but I question the 4 Revokers. I would rather have at least 1 more Mirran Crusader MB instead.
Your SB looks fine. I have been using 2 Cataclysm and 1 Gideon...

    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

What would be our "perfect" starting hand against the following match ups for G1 (considering you know what they are playing) and G2/G3? Or what would we like to have in our opening hand?

    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

    General speaking:
    1. Don't board out your Vial and equipment.
    2. Mirran Crusader + any equipment is hell for them. Have a Mom to protect it.
    3. Revoker hits KoTR too.

    I would go:
    -4 Thalia, -1...

I don't know how Dust Elemental would fare against Grixis Control. We already have some tools to fight Miracles though.

What was Enevoldsen's reasoning for using Dust Elemental back then?

    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

So, taking into consideration the stats from the last 2 weeks from mtgtop8 website, it looks like D&T has bad matchups against approximately 1/3 of the field at least (Eldrazi, 7%; UWx control -...

    Re: [DTB] Death and Taxes

What does the matchup against Eldrazi look like in general? Sometimes they are too fast for me to come back and stabilize the board.

    5 Snow-Covered Plains
    4 Rishadan Port...

Lately I have been running this list and I'm pretty happy with my MB and most of my SB, but I have been having problems with Grixis Control. It's about the only matchup I feel miserable playing...

Despite the fact that storm-based combos are less prevailing, what are your thoughts for SB:

Has anyone tested extensively with Chalice to provide...

To those of you testing WW D&T against Miracles. How has it been?

    Many: D&T;...

    Re: [Deck] Death and Taxes

On this note, would it be too ambitious to run 2 Brightling and 1 Shalai MB? Though Shalai has flying, it is indeed slow vs. Serra Avenger and/or Vryn Wingmare. It feels like we should have more than...

    Re: [Deck] Death and Taxes

I believe @Medea_ has tested Shalai and despite being really good, it maybe fits better into a Maverick build (such as in Miranda Keith's list).
