Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I've played about 20 games with the boar, he feels more like a win more card. He isn't as good as inferno titan if you cast him from your hand. He also gets bounced by karakas.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I think the sudden shocks are for decks with Containment Priest or Teeg or Revoker.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Lets calculate. Playing Griselbrand with sneak attack, then drawing 7 cards.

93% chance of getting simian or lotus petal, thats not counting if you didn't play a land. About 100% chance to...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I've been running 4 Griselbrand for a long time and its still second best to Emrakul. Worldspine is 3rd best.

Griselbrand you can draw extra cards to get another creature with Sneak Attack and...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Leyline of Sanctity is very good vs jund.

Pyromancy might be good vs miracles, but I don't think its worth more 1 slot in 75.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Overmaster isn't good with Sneak Attack and Chalice.

This deck has a bad late game vs blue, you need to slam down early chalice or moon to win.

    Options:

    Defense Grid: Great vs Counters,...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Usually if I see a containment priest game 2 I will sideboard this for game 3. Shattering Spree is bad.

    +2 Defense Grid
    +2 Pyroclasm
    -1 Seething
    -3 Blood Moon

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Karakas isn't usually a problem with blood moon + sneak attack with extra mana.

I've been having pretty good luck against miracles. Second two games you can put pyroclasm in for...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Why would you ever run less than 4 Inferno Titan or 4 Emrakul?

Wurmcoil/Worldspine can be sworded. Emrakul is best creature 90%+ of the time.

    Inferno Titian is necessary for...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

    I've been running

4 Leyline of Sanctity - ANT / Shardless / Jund
    4 Pyroclasm - Elves / D+T
    4 Defense Grid - Stoneforge / Miracles
    3 Tormod's Crypt - Reanimator / Dredge

    I thinking about...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I've 4-0'd four Mtgo Dailies with this deck, I would never run less than 4 Inferno Titan and 4 Griselbrand. Wurm just gets sworded. Griselbrand will find you an answer. Inferno titan kills...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Inferno titan and pyroclasm post board, I think Teeg is a bigger problem because he stop pyromancy also and he can be gsz'd for.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Titans are for problematic creatures, namely teeg. Batterskull has no synergy with the deck.
