I agree. Thoughtsieze is the safer option if you are newer, and it is the more powerful card. It really depends, to me, on your meta, and I don't really like thoughtsieze in a sea of delver decks. ...

My "go to" number of pierces has always been 3 in the 75, usually all 3 in the sideboard.
