    Re: BW Good Stuff

I think Gerrard's Verdict pretty much became moot when Tidehollow Sculler got printed.

    Re: BW Good Stuff

I have played and built many B/W mid range and control decks before, I agree they can be a blast to play, I have a pretty unhealthy love for Vindicates...

I agree with what DukeDemonKnight has...
  4. Re: [Article] Eternal Europe: Joining the Dark Side

    Quite a pleasure to read.

I lose to Dredge much of the time I play against it, so it was really useful for me to get an inside view of how to play the deck...

    Thanks!
  5. Re: Reserved List: Is it really what is holding back Legacy?

Not to derail the existing conversation... but what does this have to do with anything? Some people don't like legacy? I like legacy a lot, I think it's a super fun and diverse format... plus I love...
  6. Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

I was just about to say this! Those are clean!!

I don't have any pimp cards, just some set foils of staples... But for me clean, fresh and minty are huge factors in what makes a deck cool.

    Re: [DTB] Blade Control

@ klaus, thank you for your response, that was very helpful advice. This is a local meta with maybe 2-3 other guys who "play legacy" (i.e. have a collection and make actual legacy decks) then I...

    Re: [DTB] Blade Control

hello all, been reading through the thread pretty heavily recently and have tried to brew up something I plan to play in a small tournament tomorrow... Suggestion would be appreciated.

    Re: [Deck] U/R Delver

I would take Vortexes completely out of your 75. They're awesome in straight burn because they can finish games nicely and obviously turn off the important parts of Jitte and 'Skull. I would just go...
  10. Re: [DTB] Nic Fit (GBW Explorer Zenith Control)

Why is Zenith/Explorer in DTB now? I know there are criteria for this, but i'm newer here and don't know exactly how and why DTB status is attained... Zenith/Explorer hasn't won anything or made an...

    Re: [DTB] Blade Control

If this has already been discussed, sorry... I've been playing the most common list pretty much, just with no SSS for a month or so now. I don't play against a lot of Merfolk, and to be able to block...
  12. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

Some mod here yelled at me for talking about Chill before...

    Still not sure why...
  13. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

    Hm... Ok, in response Seedtime?
  14. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

This can happen, and will really suck for you if it does. My list is very, very similar to both winning lists. The only difference is I don't run Figures and play one more Hellspark or Marauder then...
  15. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

I completely agree. It's probably pretty presumptuous of me to assume that the deck is sort of cobbled together, but it certainly looks that way.

I'd be surprised to see burn break into the Top 8...
  16. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

Hm. I would agree with most of that. I mean, in the finals we saw burn VS. affinity. Both decks are known for they're speed. Turn 5-6 seems a little off, I'm goldfishing right now at turn 4 quite...
  17. Re: Burn wins second consecutive SCG Open

Well, I think burn can be as good as people will allow it to be. Many people have said this... Here, on other forums in just through normal IRL conversation. If people refuse to prepare for it, then...

  19. Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

set foil Chinese Wipe Away and Swarm are really cool!

Everyone loves pimp staples, but I really look more obscure (not that Wipe Away or Swarm are especially obscure; but they're not fetches or...
  20. Re: [Bragging] Pimp Legacy Decks

How much are foil Russian Jaces going for?

Did you choose to not go foil because of availability, cost or preference?

    Really cool cards though man!
  21. Re: [Article] Cook's Kitchen - UW Delver

No sarcasm, but thanks for replying. I definitely came off as abrasive earlier.

I didn't like or dislike it; only because I didn't read it. I was just surprised to see a standard article on this...
  22. Re: [Article] Cook's Kitchen - UW Delver

Just doesn't seem like it makes sense to post that stuff here.

Don't think I'm an asshole at all, just confused as to why the author posted it.

    Re: [DTB] Reanimator

Good point about the Batterskull / Researcher interaction, you're right that is relevant. I think I could go down to 17 lands and play x4 Reanimate, but I'd still need room MD for 2-3 Thoughtsezies,...

    Re: [DTB] Reanimator

Hey guys... just starting playing reanimator. This arcehtype is really attractive to me because of how often you God draw and can turn 2 something against non blue decks, and often turn 2 against...
