    Re: Pitch Delver

RE ADs and ATs - 7 total is a bit much - I feel the magic number is 6. However, whenever I board in FOV it is a complete gem (even with counters, discard, decay - with a deck with so little pure card...

    Re: Pitch Delver

Definitely thought about Leovold since he's in the colors - but the biggest advantage of pitch cards is the need to run less lands which Leovold sort of requires being 3 mana. Currently, test FTW's...

@ FTW: whoah, I really like your remake of the concept and keeping the blue forces in. I'm going to play around with it and let you know how it turns out.

    Re: Pitch Delver

If leaning into Death's Shadow then Dismember is an obvious inclusion. The issue is that it takes up the same spots as FOD and the Green Black kill spells.

Keep in mind that in terms of...

    Re: Pitch Delver

Those are great points! My worry though is that removing Trophy would make the Black and Green card count each below 18 cards which seems too low for pitching.

    Other Notes:

    Pitch Delver

One of the funniest decks that ever appeared on these Forums (for me at least) was Pitch World . Pitch world was designed to just pitch random cards with the help five-color cards and then win with...

Sorry if I'm a bit confused on this - do you not think Hogaak provides value? Isn't that the point of this version? From DNSolver's stream, I am not sure I personally see the value of Hogaak - just...

It's crazy how good SDT is . . . the closest card to do what it does that I found in gatherer is just soothsaying.

I kinda like it with Skelemental.

    Turn 1 - Faithless Looting
Turn 2 - Thunderkin - attack for 7 and opponent discards 2 cards?

    Spitebellows to kill a creature.

I know there's a puresteel paladin deck in modern - plus the following as an aggro option, and maybe some tier 3 list to work in legacy?

Can't really go infinite since if you do manage to get a legend out - if the legend goes back into the graveyard it will no longer benefit from the ability (it will be a new object).

you still have to pay the commander tax since you're casting Sephara from the command zone (and the commander tax is a mandatory additional cost)

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Best you can do is probably something like this? It's still reliant on getting the Leyline in play so . . . . yeah.

    4 Serum Powder
    4 Leyline of Abundance
    4 Pemmin's Aura
    4 Freed from the Real...

Absolutely correct - just a general idea and obviously not polished. It might end up looking like a Lands list mixed with . . . what . . . Zoo/Maverick?

I really like this, especially since I am still fooling around with a Wrenn and Six deck. Maybe something only in Gruul with no splash? Madness.

    Re: Core Set 2020 Spoilers

Could that type of deck work in Legacy as a sort of weird Punishing Fire + Grove Rip Off in Mono black?

    4 Sorin
    4 LOTV

    4 Oathsworn Vampire
    4 Bloodghast
    4 BOB

Oathsworn Vampire is good with the second ability - lightning helix each turn.

Mephidross Vampire into a walking Ballista is also funny.

Garza Zol, Plague Queen for a hasty 5/5 plus draw.

I quickly looked at old Demon Stompy decks . . . not sure they are too helpful, but if you would start from scratch:

    8 SOL Lands
    4 Mox of some type

    4 Rotting Regisaur

    4 Karn...
