    Re: [DTB] Eldrazi Stompy

The new Ugin seems sweet for a slightly go bigger variant of the Stompy build. He protects himself, makes your follow ups cheaper and deals with problem permanents (missing on Ensnaring Bridge, which...

    Re: [Primer] Eldrazi Stompy

It's just that I changed my non-Monolith list to fit 4 Ballista and I never want to go back despite the fact that yes, they are not Eldrazi and I mostly cast them for X=1 or 2. I suppose Endbringer...

I like that thinking :) Thanks for the report and list.

Didn't you miss Ballista at all? Also, how were the MD Thorns for you?

Wow, how did this thread fall all the way to the second page?

I took my list to the Win a Dual tournament No. 30 in Tübingen, Germany. 5-2, 9th of 66 players and pretty happy with everything.

    Re: [SCD] As Foretold

Well, Ancestral Vision is a legitimate card even if only suspended. We found that a T1 suspended vision led to a game-closing advantage if we could figure out a way to Restore Balance T3...

    Re: [SCD] As Foretold

So, we did play around with a few configurations of UWx As Foretold yesterday, trying to figure out how to abuse the card. We specifically looked at Restore Balance and Ancestral Vision (leaving out...

    Re: [DTB] Eldrazi Stompy

Well as far as I'm informed, you should be able to pay the blue of the Emerge cost with Cavern. Also, sacrificing Matter Reshaper to it sounds fun!

In the colorless list, I feel they add a lot of consistency in keepable hands, make you more explosive and mess with Daze players. I like them a lot.

    Re: [DTB] Eldrazi Stompy/Shops

Personally, I'd love to call the deck Ramen Stompy, but oh well.

Did someone also watch Andrea Mengucci's videos on CFB? He's championing Mishra's Factory over Wasteland and I can see why. While...

    Re: Living Depths

Interesting take. I like the "no creatures" approach and Smallpox in particular. Loam is pretty ridiculous at repeatedly putting Marit Lage into play, which is great, since they won't be able to...

Maybe this doesn't belong in here, yet I think despite coming from a different approach, this may be useful.

I'm testing this approach for over two months now and I became fairly confident in it:...

    Re: [Primer/Deck] Burn

In Testing, we found Sulfuric Vortex as a 4of Maindeck quite convenient if SneakShow goes for the Show and Tell. On the other hand, Sneak Attack appears to be the preferred path for the deck against...

Re: [Deck] Nic Fit (GBW Explorer Zenith Control)

I'd never side Therapies out. They always get better G2, and you rarely find a hand that has nothing to discard (um, Dredge, possibly?)

Especially if you are playing Surgicals or Extirpates,...

    Qweerios,
thank you for your ardent criticism, which has a lot of merit.

Coming from playing BUG Control, the first iteration of the blue list by Arianrhod drew me to Nic Fit because it seemed...

@Arianrhod - Thanks, that is a really handy guide for Therapy! Awesome work. I printed it to read it during the roadtrip tomorrow.

Re: [Deck] Nic Fit (GBW Explorer Zenith Control)

Thanks for the input. I liked that Gifts made Nightmare more relevant, but it was really slow. With FoF, you get the cards you want immediately and don't need to Witness / GSZ Witness for them first....

Re: (Fake) beta lotus on e-bay

There are some incredibly well made fake power cards out there. I bought an Ancestral like 8 years ago, and the seller genuinely wasn't aware. I even had high-res scans and couldn't see it. (And NO,...

    Very well put, Arianrhod.

The back looks off center, but the front doesn't. That's odd.

Re: [Deck] Nic Fit (GBW Explorer Zenith Control)

I'm hesitant on Gifts since I'm not used to the card, but I probably should give it a spin, at least as a one-of. Another FoF would be nice, but I can't / won't find room for it. What would you cut...
