I think that diminishing returns usually does the same thing but is easier to cast. The exile part of diminishing returns is a problem sometimes but I think the ease of casting still outweighs that.

I have to completely agree with this. I run flusterstorm, envelop, and pyroblast in my sideboard but that's because I have a crazy combo meta. The flusterstorms are only coming in against combo....

I've been running envelop for a while now but I have a lot more combo in my area then most people.
