The problem is in decks that would abuse vault it doesn't have a real drawback. It's just a strict upgrade to Grim Monolith and powers out super broken things on turn 1 at worst, and at best ends...

Everyone thinks mind twist is ok until elves or mud nukes their hand on turn 2 and then they remember why it's been banned all these years.

I want to see a giant meta game shifting ban list update. Delver, Griselbrand, Brainstorm banned. Survival and frantic search unbanned.

Would reanimator really want this more than Careful Study though? Getting up to 3 mana doesn't seem like what the deck generally wants to be doing

I don't think Library or Drain are too powerful for Legacy, there just aren't enough copies of those cards in existence for our format.

Why are people talking about TNN when Stoneforge is the obvious offender?

I would rather play in a format with moxen as 4-of's before a format with Balance.

LoA I don't think would be too powerful although I don't believe it could ever come off due to availability and cost restrictions.
