Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

This is "company standard" Fox though, as we've seen thoughout the years. The idea is that Hymn and Couterbalance are horribly broken, but somehow there is always something that mitigates and...

Yeah, he ws literally playing two copies of Dispel in the sideboard, when I was able to tune into the stream last night. Unfortunately I missed most of it and seems VODs are not available for some...

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Mind Harness, used to run one in a Zur EDH deck to screw Uril players back in the day.

In this case though, what exactly are we aiming it at? 'Goyfs?

Not only that, but another reason to put Depths and ReAnimator together, for example, is that Graveyard hate does nothing to stop the Depths plan and the same in the Bomberman case, where Gravehate...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Well, I didn't really mean that Infect and Dreastill are comparable decks, per se, only that your opponent knowing what you are on might not help them when you are a skilled pilot. In fact, it could...

Reminds me of when Tom Ross was just wrecking people while he was jamming Infect all the time. He was just so good at executing his plan, even through people knowing exactly what his plan was. ...

One thing that is interesting about Gargoyle, in itself, is that it has 5 power. Which means, in the magical christmas-land of convenient math, 12 ('naught) + 5 (Gargoyle) + 3 (Bolt) has your...

TCGPlayer has several sellers with 4+ copies. I got my 3 "extra" copies off TCGPlayer on release day.

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

It happens. The rules are confusing and the confusing ones are even more so.

I once beat Chris Pikula in a Vintage tournament specifically because of that interaction with respect to Iona (in...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Indeed, things phrased "As..." are actually replacement effects that modify how they will enter the Battlefield. The only "weird case" here is how the rules were changed with regards to Blood Moon,...

Not to refute your points on the Faerie, but I just want to point out that Torpor Orb does not interact with TNN.

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

I love Winter Orb. Like, it's nearly one of my children.

But I feel like Winter Orb is vastly over-boarded right now, it's really too symmetrical in the decks that are trying to use it now. ...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

It's probably kind of terrible, since one toughness is a real liability now, given the W&6 meta we are in.

Why not Dismember, maybe? I mean, it costs you way more life, but it could also just...

For some reason (I don't know why) but the Commander decks came out on MTGO a week before paper.

Also, I love the Vision Charm can save a Scroll,

While it might indeed be a trap, this does indeed make me think of White, for Teferi, Time Raveler since it forces opponents to play directly into the strength of what you outline above. They simply...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

The issue is that if you allow the trigger to resolve, so that the Visions triggers the Standstill, you are past the point that you can Stifle it.
