I say just play really, really fast! If you've mastered the deck and it sure as heck seems like you have, just play as fast as you are able to. If you win more of your game 1's, you'll probably find...

2013, Pox, & the numbers:
Overall for the year, Pox declined compared to the previous, 2012. However the deck still had showings at the open series and other large scale events. Including a couple...
Any deck that can dump a lot of creatures fast is a tough match up, Affinity because it's fast from the get go, & Goblins because they just keep coming, Oh look top deck a Ringleader, pull some more...
In some recent testing, this deck is absolutely awesome against combo (that isn't turn 1 like belcher) & control, and enough of aggro strategies that it should be doing better, Engineered Plague eats...
In pushing High Tide specifically, one thing I do not want to go against is a mono black pox list that has an even heavier focus on discard than it already does, too much of it can rip your hand to...
I did sideboard Dystopias but, when I made the deck Maverick was alot more popular overall, and locally it was just ridiculous up here, the local metagame at the time would sometimes have a Maverick...
Don't know how I missed this at first, but somehow I did, glad I double checked, anyhow, it's about a week later than it should be, but updated with a new pox list, this time a Loam Pox list, though...
http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/MagicOnlineTourn.aspx?x=mtg/digital/magiconline/tourn/5294139 4th list down, gotta love seeing that. ^.^
This did hit at the beginning of the year, though a smaller tournament (53 players) it hit the top 6, landing on 5th http://www.thecouncil.es/tcdecks/deck.php?id=9909&iddeck=72255
It's the closest...
Liliana of the Veil basically replaced Pox because it does most of the same stuff, and can recur discard/creature sacrificing over and over depending on the situation.
That too, alot of times a deck gets "propelled" a bit to a boost after someone somewhere has success with it, while up to that point it's seen as an uncommon strategy.
There is also the "long time...
I just know that when I did research over Pox over the past couple of years, there were very few B/G Pox lists, while there were alot more mono black pox lists, however there was just enough from B/G...
it says "non traditional" not "unusual etc" im not sure I follow the error there, checked but everything looked find, other than "traditional" being mispelled once.
Tell me where the spelling mistake is then so I can fix it ^,^
Um, what? lol, I actually do push more rogue/fringe decks than I do tier 1 strategies, but what makes you say that? lol
Added, noted, & thank you ^.^
Pox would be the most optimal mono black decklist, just based on performance of decks that are mono black, the gate hasn't had near the success Pox has. I also have my own Liliana Pox deck, the...
Thank you, it's my 4th one in the past week, after doing High Tide / Belcher / Zoo as well, currently I'm working on one for Stax,-EDIT-submitted, that makes 5!
I was only able to find very few B/G Pox lists that had success at larger events (100 or so players+) that finished in the top placings, since this deck is more uncommon i did top 32 instead of top...
7) 20 match ups: (Based mostly on decks that have performed with some level of consistent, higher placings since Return to Ravnica Legacy)
01) RUG (Moderate-Heavy playtesting recommended, a more...
