Sweet card for sure, just sad to see it's a rare. I don't think it would be OP in limited at uncommon.
Edit: except with the populate mechanics,...
I played Magic in the 90's too, and I saw very little of it even back then.
I hope Majors wins, if only because I really dislike the lands in front playing style.
They're on YouTube, I think. Worth watching, imo.
It was just a part of Nathan Holt's "Walking the Planes" episode. A good series as long as the viewer has a sense of humor.
No kidding. Lots of misogynic crap talk on the chat whenever there's a female player playing on the stream, too.
An Englishman calling football soccer? I'm happy I missed that.
Rich Hagon is a good guy, but he's a horrible interviewer. He does 99% of the talking.
Tiago most likely wanted it to be blue.
Ye, it won't be any good but since I've always loved Astral Slide I'm still tempted to try it.
Dang, the whole set spoiled.
I feel sorry for WOTC, I really do. Some heads will roll, for sure.
I wouldn't count out the new Tezz so soon. At least in Standard/Extended he seems more potent than the old version (of course, that has something to do with the new artifact block).
The sword looked quite nice last weekend at PT Paris in Caw-Go control (one-of, tutored with Stoneforge Mystic) decks. Of course, the format was standard.. but control is where I'd try this.

I don't like the art, but that flavor text is just awesome.
I agree, that attitude is pretty tiresome, and it's certainly not helping the format.
Nassif winning the GP is the best kind of advertising Legacy can get, and there was nothing undeserved about...
I kinda hope it's cycling, even though that seems highly unlikely since it already returned once with the Onslaught block. I just love cycling.
Madness would be pretty interesting too.
Edit:...
Hopefully Buehler can find a new place elsewhere in the company, back to designing cards perhaps? Then again, he has certainly expressed interest in playing on the Tour agan.. so who knows.

I can't agree with any of these statements.

Interesting top 8 for tomorrow, kinda. Many big name players with previous top 8 experience, which is great. Six Faerie decks... not so nice....
There will be a new set of fetchlands someday, do not doubt it. They just won't be in this set.
And they won't be screwing up Extended, because the old fetches have most likely rotated out by then.
It was heartwarming to see a Fish deck doing so well. And this time "fish" really meant merfolk. Awesome.
I suppose this doesn't really answer your question, but I got a couple of my friends (who were all about casual, chaos magic until then) into competitive magic by first introducing drafting (and...
Well, Roland Chang won the 2006 Legacy Champs with Madness.
I'm not an Enduring Ideal expert but isn't the point of Honden of Seeing Winds to give you fodder for Solitary Confinement. Confinement makes you skip your draw step, so Thought Reflection wouldn't...
